David M. Matusiak's Online Review Report Card

I am so thankful we met Dr. Matusiak in the hospital when my son was born. We had actually selected a different Pediatrician prior to my delivery, but because he wasn't a part of the hospital where we delivered, Dr. Matusiak was the physician we saw each day in the hospital. We were very impressed by him, his attentiveness to our questions, his knowledge and experience, and his patience with us being new parents and quite honestly not knowing what we're doing! He also always tells jokes, which honestly may sound silly but it goes a long way in calming my new-parent nerves. We did go to see the physician we had originally selected for my son once, but the experience just didn't compare to what we had already seen from Dr. Matusiak. We've been seeing him now since my son was born a year ago, and we are grateful for the care he provides!

We have been going to Dr. Matusiak for over 8 years. He has been caring for our 2 boys and is excellent in taking the time to fully exam our boys/provide urgent care needs. We never feel rushed at our appointments and he is so patient with answering all our questions. We were saddened to hear his Bloomingdale location closed and is very inconvenient for us to have to travel over 30 minutes to his Elmhurst office. We would hate to lose Dr. Matusiak as our kid’s primary pediatrician but feel we need to look for another doctor closer in the event of an illness or an emergency where we cannot travel. Please consider reopening the Bloomingdale location as it was perfect for our family.

I cannot say enough how knowledgeable and professional Dr. Matusiask is. He has been our pediatrician since he was assigned to our family when I relocated. I have not had to look elsewhere since. He has a unique personality but incredibly gifted in his profession. He treats his patients like a Concierge doctor service. I am very grateful to have him as our son’s doctor. For this, I give him 5 stars!

Dr. Matusiask is incredibly intelligent, professional and truly is talented in what he does. He is unique and quirky but truly cares about his patients. I relocated here and he was assigned to me for my newborn and I have never needed to look elsewhere. He is kind, funny and places us at ease when it comes to our child’s health needs and questions. For this reason, I give him 5 stars. He is an amazing doctor.

My experience is great at the Pediatric clinic Dr. Matusiak is s great doctor and very caring with his patients and knowledgeable.

Very friendly. Very informative. Saw right away what my son was suffering from. Made my ASD son feel comfortable and surprisingly made him cooperative which rarely happens. Thank you

Horrible!! Took my son for his 2 month visit. The doctor came in with his laptop, sat down and just started reading off things as if checking things off of a list. I raised some concerns about his 2 month requirements and he became very upset and was not able to give me any answers. Instead he was very condescending and unhelpful! In fact, he made me feel bad for even having concerns. He also advised me that due to my concerns specifically about vaccinations for my child I would be kicked out of the practice and I would need to find a new doctor for my 2 month old son because him and his practice would no longer take care of him. I am so very Disappointed that providers like this exist especially in healthcare! He said his priority was the health of my son but yet he dropped him from ever returning for care. I thought doctors take a hippo oath to help everyone yet he refuses to help my son due to concerns I have that are contrary to his. He walked out of the room slammed the door and didn’t return. What a horrible and rude doctor.

Dr walked in the room and asked my daughter what grade she was in. My daughter thought he asked her which ear hurt (as we were there for her ear feeling clogged and a bad cough) and she points to her ear that bothered her. To which he replied so rudely “I SAID WHAT GRADE ARE YOU IN?” My daughter looked so embarrassed. I told him my concerns but he was fixed on his laptop not really interacting with my daughter or myself. He didn’t even prescribe her anything after stating she had an ear infection and that she sounded congested upon listening to her breathing. He just walked out the room. First time experiencing something like this at this hospital. Everyone is usually super friendly.

The guy is a fraud. He pushes unnecessary vaccines on you and your baby with no professional reasoning behind it other than “you will die” if you don’t take it. Very condescending and unsympathetic. He’s obviously sold out to big pharma and could care less about you and your baby’s health.
