Elmhurst Memorial Hospital's Online Review Report Card

I received such good care in Elmhurst Hospital for my hip surgery. They are so organized, so very good at santiziing, displayed care and understanding of my situation. Nurses were just great. Dr. Born told me he would take care of my two concerns regarding my hospital stay and he and his staff came thru with flying colors. I am so grateful to him and his staff. My doctor, Dr. Paprosky, was of course brilliant in his surgery of my hip. I would highly recommend Elmhurst Hospital to anyone having a procedure.

I recently underwent a surgical procedure at Elmhurst Hospital and I was really impressed with this facility. The building itself is quite beautiful as are the well-tended grounds which surround it. The interior is very well appointed and immaculately clean. All of the staff members who attended to me - - from patient intake, to attending nurses and doctors, and to patient transport as well, were friendly, helpful and very, very considerate. This is an outstanding hospital!

I had surgery May 4th and kept in the hospital until the end of May 5th. My entire experience at the hospital from surgery through discharge was exemplary. Our family is extremely pleased with the caregiving and taken in my stay. Thanks to the entire hospital and staff for their exemplary work. AAM

Amazing care.

each and every attendig nurse /tech were wonderful

When I came out of surgery. I had woke up after an hour and a half. I had told the nurse in recovery that I had pain. She said I was being moved up to my room and I would have to wait till I got upstairs. I got upstairs to the nurse. She told me they were in the middle of shift change and I wouldn’t be able to get any pain meds for at least an hour. Recovery nurses should be aware of us when getting ready to transport a patient. I was in room 418, I was in such pain that the nurse stayed over to make sure that she was able to give me some pain meds right away. The nurse is down in recovery. All they were talking about was what they were gonna do when they left for the day. I think as long as you’re on the clock, you need to be helping your patients more. I really was not happy with the whole surgical procedure at your hospital. I would not have went to that hospital. That was the only hospital. My doctor went to. I have already told about 10 people how horrible my experience was.
