Update: Dr Sloan left the practice to begin a professorship in Wisconsin. However, the Elmhurst Pain Management clinic is still a wonderful place for chronic pain sufferers. They offer the kindest, most understanding doctors anywhere and I willingly travel all the way from Hoffman Estates just to continue with them. You couldn't do better than them. Best at pain management ever. No one is better at giving nerve blocks, particularly of the brachial plexus. Equally as important, nicest guy you could ever get a painful shot from, ever!

Dr. Eric Sloan is the best Dr that I have ever had! I never met a Dr who is more compassionate and sincere and who has manners. I never felt Dr. Sloan speaking down to me. He was very thorough in his examination. Dr. Sloan will greatly be missed. I'm so sorry to see him leave the Pain Management.

Dr Sloan is my pain doctor. I don't know what I would do without him. His level of caring is so high other doctors wouldn't be able to compare. His knowledge of conditions causing chronic pain is what brought me to him. His care and consideration is what has made him irreplaceable.

Dr. Sloan was very kind and spent time prior to my surgery while in the hospital. It went very smoothly. There was no pain and I would recommend him. I have to have another surgery and I did let the Surgeon know that I want him.
