As someone who suffers from extreme anxiety at even the *mention* of pelvic exams, I was nervous about establishing a new relationship with an OB/GYN after my insurance changed. I was visibly upset even before she walked in, and upon seeing my distress she was patient and understanding of the situation. She never made me feel embarrassed about the panic and tried new things to make the experience as comfortable as possible. If I could give her 100 stars I would.

She is a great provider, felt very comfortable with her, answered all my questions and I didnt feel rushed.

If I could put a 0 I would. She was dismissive and flat out refused basic care based on my health history. Did not seem to have even a basic understanding of hormones and pregnancy and that lack of knowledge caused her to refuse to order a simple lab for progesterone that would determine how low my level was and if immediate medication was warrented which I had told her was the case in my previous pregnancies. Did NOT understand why doctors including a would renowned fertility Dr would have me on progesterone even though I have a history of irregular periods, short cycles and high miss carriage rate. Do NOT recommend.

My experience with dr norman was phenomenal, she is thorough and gives you time. She is young and hardworking. I saw her at edward elmhurts lombard
