John G Girardot's Online Review Report Card

When Dr Eric Sloan left the practice, he recommended Dr Girardot. What a wonderful replacement this man is! I'll always miss Dr Sloan, but I feel my pain and I are in very capable hands with Dr Girardot and Elizabeth Green, a PA whom I consider my Dr as much as any Dr there. The center is great, but these two really make it perfect for me. They care, they listen and they're really there to help.

I am a big fan of Dr. Girardot. He has been managing my back pain for 2 years. He is a careful listener and he is down to earth and friendly. Since I have been going to him my pain is well managed and I am able to go longer between treatments. Thank you Dr. Giradot.

I am getting billed for a procedure that was cancelled and the billing department is absolutely no help. This is terrible.

Dr. Girardot is my pain management doctor and I wouldn't trade him for anyone. He's always been very caring and attentive and extremely knowledgeable about the condition I have. He has done everything in his power to make me comfortable enough to have somewhat of a life. Without him I doubt I would have any life at all. He also works with a wonderful staff at his clinic. Always kind and friendly. 5 stars isn't enough.

Dr. Girardot has been my wife’s Pain Management doctor for the past 12 years. He has always listened to whatever she’s had to say and done the best he could to help her with her pain symptoms. He’s a very down to earth Doctor who actually cares about his patients. We are now living out of state but just wanted to tell Dr. Girardot, thank you for everything you’ve done to help my wife. We really appreciate it. I’d highly recommend seeing him.

Ethical, honest, high quality character physician who listens and cares about his patients!

I was injured 18 years ago and had started seeing Dr. Girardot at the Elmhurst pain center around 2005. Over the years, he was the one doctor I knew I could count on to listen and treat the pain from my injury appropriately. He was always interested in trying every therapy avail. He is by far one of the best and brightest in his field and he kept me from being bedridden. I've since moved, and no other doctor in my new place can compare!

Dr. Girardot has always put his patients first. He does a great job listening to you and then coming up with solutions. One of the best in the business!

Dr. Girardot was in charge of the anesthesia for my wife's c section 2 weeks ago. She screamed and was in pain throughout the 30 minute procedure. My wife received an epidural that if don't properly does not require more pain medication given intravenously. Not only did she have to endure through an unsuccessful epidural in the spine, then the tech or assistant anesthesiologist was not successful administering the rest of the pain drugs... Blaming the ivy had moved so the drugs did not go through correctly. Isn't that a part of the job to make sure all is set before and during such a procedure? Also.. Why was there a tech there and not Dr, Girardot himself? So Dr. Girardot administered an unsuccessful epidural and left the room more or less.. Since this, I have come to understand through my friend and family doctor circles that While Elmhurst Memorial is a great hospital.. Their anesthesia dept is known as one of the word in the Chicagoland area. Be aware of Dr. Girardot, Elmhurst Anestesia (the anesthesiolgoists) for EMH and remember reading this before you consider EMH. I listened to my wife scream for 20 minutes giving birth to my second child.
