A great doctor who cares and follows up. He sensed my fear and took extra time even though I could tell he was running behind and busy.

Dr. Weinstein has been my nephrologist for many years. I recently heard from another patient who also sees him that he is leaving Toronto. I really hope that is not true. Or if it is, he can continue to see me virtually. Trust him with your kidney care. His office is busy and he often runs behind but you will not be sorry. Oh and his assistant is incredible.

This doctor was not my first nephrologist but he will be my last. he thinks outside the box and reviewed my case from scratch. He took a different approach than others. He was frank with me that we cannot cure kidney disease in my case but he seems to have ideas that are on the forefront of research. I am very grateful I found him. Hopefully when Covid subsides we will be able to visit in person but for now I am very relieved.

Spoke to Dr. W via phone in the middle of covid. He was very patient with me. He was honest but realistic given my condition. He gave me hope and I appreciate his expertise. And he has a good sense of humor

Doesn't seem to care for patients or go the extra mile. Very self-obsessed and overly confident in everything. Talks down to patients and acts like he doesn't have the time of day for them.

He is worst doctor one can get - full of himself, always late, unhelpful even at the time I was very sick. I switched to another nephrologist in another hospital in the end.

I saw Dr. Weinstein yesterday for my first visit. He is extremely knowledgeable, practical, pleasant and proactive. While it was my first visit to a nephrologist, I cannot imagine finding anyone better than this excellent physician. If he was a horse, he would be the racehorse winner by a many paces.

I've been a patient in the stone prevention clinic for 5 years and Dr. Weinstein is fantastic. He is knowledgeable and thorough and takes the time to answer all of my questions about test results and any recommended preventative measures for stones. I can understand why his appointments might run late as he is likely giving time to each patient. I had a very stressful medical situation a year ago which was not directly related to my kidneys and he took the time to help me to better understand some of the testing my other specialist we're ordering for me. He's very personable and the appointment feels like I'm talking to a friend. Thankful to be under the care of Dr. Weinstein.

Has helped me immensely in COVID. He responds to emails. Has been a real life-line. He keeps appointments short which is okay but is thorough and follows up.
