I received a notice from a collection agency saying I owed $35 and never received a bill prior. I tried to figure out how to pay online but online billing is sketchy and impossible to use. I call billing and the women on the phone can't find my account. Eventually, says she says I actually owe $9, not $35. I tell her that doesn't makes sense because collections is saying I owe $35. After some digging she discovers that I actually owe both $9 and $35... both of which they sent to collections after never sending a bill. 1) Who sends $9 to collections? After you already got paid from my insurance. Who is running your AR department because I'm not sure that even makes sense from a labor cost perspective... 2) You really need to get your billing together. Why can't you bill through EE website portal? I hope you read all of your terrible reviews and do something about your billing department.

Another customer with similar experience with billing. Just went in for an evaluation and keep getting bills. Wanted me to sign a document that costs $1500 and cornered into an office. With great difficulty I had to walk away from that situation. Got no useful service but paid off for the X-Ray and electric stym. You would be better off buying the electric stym and self service. I had settled the bill after speaking with the doctor and he said that was the final bill. Today got another bill and this place is ABSOLUTELY the worst place to go for any physical therapy or chiro services.

This is not a review on the care provided but rather the billing and my chart setup. I went to a rheumatologist who required an x-ray done in the same building. I just received a bill from a debt collector for $15 for the imaging done. Apparently, this is billed separately from my chart, where my other visit was billed. They say they sent me two bills before giving to the collections agency. No phone calls. No bills saying "this is going to be given to a debt collector if we do not hear from you". I had gone to the doctor so many times that year I assumed I was already paying this off in mychart. I called the doctor and they said they already sold the debt to the collection agency. I'm 37 years old and I have NEVER been contacted by a debt collection agency. The billing practice is victimizing.

Billing is a nightmare. They refuse to pick up the phone and tell the primary doctor what billing codes or whatever it is they need to process the bills correctly.

Billing process is like something put together by a middle-school kid. Some of it is really archaic. For example you have to enter your birthday by going backwards one month at a time starting from today's date. Really people? Guys, the patient was born in the 1960s! If something else goes wrong you have to start all over again. In essence you don't have an online payment option.

Horrible service with horrible insurance and billing practices. Will repeatedly overcharge

It would be nice if they pick up the phone or call you back. Been calling for about 2 months..

It is sad that a hospital in such a great area has such horrible service. Hospitals have an agreement with insurance companies as to what the insurance will cover and not pass on any additional amounts to the patient. Don't get hurt and go here. They will charge you the overage.
