List of Matthew Zuckerman's Reviews
Dr. Zuckerman is the reason I have two healthy babies now. I can never thank him enough for being thorough in his questions after I had experienced a stillbirth at another hospital. He was kind, attentive and most importantly, inquisitive. His curiosity about my case led him and my RE dr to uncover the underlying conditions and for me to go on to have two successful pregnancies. He has always made me feel like he had all the time in the world for me (even though I know he's busy!) His kindness and bedside manner are truly unparalelled, and I am forever grateful to him and his staff for making me feel safe and taken care of in two high risk pregnancies.
Before seeing this doctor I had asked his partners in practice my options as just finding out I was pregnant and not sure what to do. When it came to being seen by doctor Zuckerman his demeanor was very rude and he proceeded to ask me “where is the father” and “did you get pregnant by a one night stand” I was very uncomfortable but never had an issue at this practice so I did not want to cause any trouble. He then at the end of the visit stated “that if an abortion is what I wanted I need to say something as I am taking away resources from those who actually need them”. I was very confused due to having set up prenatal appointments and making it known I was just unsure at first but I knew I wanted to continue the pregnancy. At my most recent appointment I called to say I was running late but would be in the time frame to still be seen. When I arrived they said I would be seen at my appointment and I asked if I could run my keys to vallet due to no parking but I wanted to make sure I checked in on time-after they gave me permission they proceeded to move my appointment 1hr without telling me and leave me in the waiting room with contractions. Of course I was frustrated and crying. The doctors then had his nurse listen in on me using the bathroom and having a personal call with my mom. During the visit I was trying to express my concerns in which he just talked over me and badgered me the entire time. He then made me walk to the next building with my swab he did and contractions. He never told me it was in another building- after sending me to the wrong floor I went down to reception and asked for help and that’s how I was told labor and delivery was in the next building. After letting the doctor know his comments were uncalled for and unprofessional and his nurse invalid my privacy he got me dismissed from the entire practice. Now at 28weeks and preterm labor signs it is very hard to find a provider to see me for the rest of the pregnancy. His personal feelings about my options or being a single mom should not dictate him and his nurse lying to dismiss me so that my complaints wont be heard. If he did not want to see me he should have said something sooner instead now leaving me 28 weeks pregnant and not able to find a single doctor to see me so late in my pregnancy.
Finding out you’re pregnant can be scary. I asked if I had options and little did I know that question would be the reason Dr zuckerman would hold a grudge over me. He let his person feelings of that question make him ask me “where’s the father” “was it a one night stand” very inappropriate! I went in for an emergency visit and he talked over me the whole time and badgered me for asking questions. I was frustrated already with no parking and being left in the waiting room with contractions for an hour (they moved my appointment and didn’t tell me). He had his nurse listen to a private call and proceeded to make up lies to get me dismissed at 28 weeks pregnant and no OB will see anyone that far. He could’ve said he ahead an issue from the beginning and let me actually get good care. Now I’m being told to just go to county. How can he has a doctor say inappropriate comments to a patient and they have to pay the price? Avoid him at all cost
Dr.Zuckerman is great, he delivered my LO and made it as smooth as possible and was very understanding /helpful given the circumstances. What was a bit traumatizing he made a bit more relaxing. Thank you!
He is well addressed my concerns and replied with smile. I feel super comfortable. I highly recommend
Dr Zuckerman takes time to explain what is going on. Very personable
Amazing doctor and person overall. I couldn’t ask for a better healthcare professional. His bedside manner is top notch. Truly a genuine person. Highly recommend.
The ladies who gave Dr. Zuckerman a low rating must be a bit sensitive or difficult. He’s a young, personable doctor who will answer all your questions thoroughly and will give you his honest opinion. He took good care of my daughter and I during and after my c-section. If I could’ve scheduled all of my appointments with him, I would’ve (and maybe 2 other doctors at that office).
Dr. Zuckerman is very professional yet compassionate. awesome bedside manner.
Highly recommend!! Dr. Zuckerman is kind, understanding and passionate about what he does. He listens and gives honest advice with compassion. I was lucky to have him deliver my baby at Elmhurst, he helped calm my nerves during labor, and made me feel confident in delivering a healthy baby. I am so glad to have him as my primary OBGYN Dr.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
