WORST experience in my life! I brought my 1 yo in bc he had a fever and wasn't eating properly as a result. The dr then turned the situation on me saying that I was being lazy for not trying to force feed my baby. As I was trying to explain that being a parent I am trying my best and I care for my child, he became red in the face, and yelled "Well you clearly are not TRYING enough". Seriously? I was tearing. I sighed in disbelief which he then mimicked to emphasize that I’m a lazy parent. My husband was so shocked that when the dr turned to yell at him, he couldn't even make eye contact. When my baby was put down on the table for checkup he pinned him down(w/ no words or sounds to calm him) &just to hear the heartbeat he was twisting and forcing him. My husband picked him up b/c he was crying super hard and the dr yelled “NO! PUT HIM DOWN!” As the appt came to an end the dr suddenly turned nice. It seemed very odd, almost as if he was a different person.

Great doctor who speaks factually to your teen-if you don’t do this -you get this! A lesson many adults still don’t comprehend.

Makes your child VERY comfortable and relaxed--easy appointment getting and he speaks in impossibly easy terms that you can understand. Answers all questions......and just an overall great doctor that can ---ummm, how do I say this: Speak to you and your child in a sensible, non-formal way. Informative yet succinct. HE WILL NOT BE TALKING TO YOUR CHILD LIKE A BABY--he respects that his minor patient is just a patient! For a Pediatrician I am not sure you could ask for any better than that.

MY ELDEST DAUGHTER USE TO SEE DR HOFFMAN'S FATHER, WHO HAS RETIRED.... ALL 4 OF MY KIDS SEE DR HOFFMAN (JR) LOL AND HAVE SEEN HIM FOR YEARS. DR HOFFMAN WILL TAKE HIS TIME, ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS AND TREAT YOUR CHILDREN AS FAMILY. DR HOFFMAN IS ALSO ALWAYS UP TO DATE ON THINGS GOING ON IN THE PEDIACTRIC WORLD. LOVE DR HOFFMAN!

I see Dr Hoffman at his bloomingdale office. He is a wonderful and caring MD. Always has time to anser any questions I may have.

Has taken care of all three of my older kids from young age through to adulthood and continues to care for my youngest child who is medically fragile and complex. Dr. Hoffman is very knowledgeable, personable, easy to take to and easy to reach when needed. I wouldn't trade Doctor Mike for any other Pediatrician in the world!
