List of MIchael Nosek's Reviews
This was my fittest l first time seeing Dr Nosek. He seems thorough and took the time needed for my physical. Getting an apointment was easy and I did not wait long at all in the room. The building does need more parking, so plan an extra 5-10 minutes to find a spot and walk there.
Appointment was on this. Dr. Nosek addressed my health concerns. He's honest and straight to the point.
Dr. Nosek has been my primary physician for a long time and i'm very happy with him.
My visit as normal was wonderful. My physician takes time to explain to me what is happening. Elmhurst has treated extra special like a queen from the first day 25 years ago til today. I'm loving it. Please give the same care to others.
Very unprofessional and rude. I did call office and spoke to 2 different people and I never received a call back...
I took my elderly mother in to see Dr. Michael Nosek since her primary doctor was booked. We have never felt so uncomfortable as we did today. The doctor was very condescending to a point that I wanted to run out of the room and take my dear mother with me. He questioned why we had gone into the office when we could have just tested for covid at home like normal people, "I mean isn't that what people do anyway?" Per the Doctor. He said, "I wish you would you have stayed home and not come into the office when you have covid symptoms. I said, I wish I would have been told not to come in before making the appointment! He should voice his concerns to THE upper management and request for change there, not to his patients. My mother is sick with cold like symptoms which are similiar to covid symptoms and thank God does not have covid because after leaving the doctor's office we purchased covid tests and tested at home, since he stated that the office would not test for covid-he stated that he had covid in the past and had complications so he had to be cautious. Well my mother is an elderly woman who I brought into your care so she doesn't have future complications, at this point your health is YOUR concern- my mother's health is my main priority. Clearly, his patient's health is not the least bit of his concern. My question is, does he treat all his patients like this? Obviously we go to the doctor when we're feeling ill but he's stating stay home. I took a day off work, forced my sick mother who has severe arthritis to leave the house to see this man who says I wish you would have stayed home. He also scolded my mother who just had a temperature reading by the nurse and told her to pull her mask down, well my mother didn't put it up right away and he lectured her about always wearing a mask. Yeah we know, we were the only ones in the waiting room wearing a mask. We mask at all times, especially in a doctor's office and mainly because my mother is sick. How does this man function at work when staff all around him are around sick people and unmasked? My mom let him know that her throat was very sore-he then looked at it and said no infection. We then requested a strep throat test and he reminded us how he had to be super cautious because you know Covid is really contagious, like we didn't know this. His tone is sarcastic, condescending and unprofessional. We have been patients of the Elmhurst practice for many years and never come across someone like Dr. Nosek. I think he's in the wrong profession and has sadly gone this far with nobody to stop him.
professionalism
I saw him years ago and am still traumatized by how incredibly dismissive he was. Other doctors found so many things wrong with me and treated me with compassion, caring and empathy - I'm not sure why Nosek was unable to do the same as his peers. Michael Nosek, your complete lack of respect when I needed help the most will be with me till I die. I hope the guilt from causing so much pain to your patients stays with you.
Dr. Nosek is a great doctor and very caring.
He was knowledgeable, asked questions about things I may have tried to do for myself to ease the pain I was feeling. That reminded me of things I had forgotten that could have helped me sooner. I tried doing those things in similar situations thereafter.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
