Nirali Ghia's Online Review Report Card

Dr.Ghia likes to do things quickly, especially during appointments, which is fine. During the appointments I never felt comfortable with her, and she kept telling me to sign up for classes. When I told her I didn’t take any, she just stared at me and mentioned to take the labor class at least. During the appointments to me she seemed condescending. She was on call when I called the office, because I knew I was in labor. My contractions started but she told me the pain level had to be a 10, and basically my water should break. Dr.Ghia didn’t believe that i was in labor. She also mentioned that I sounded fine on the phone so no need to go to the hospital. I understand being pregnant for the first time you might not have a lot of experience but I knew I was going into labor that day. Im glad that I didn’t listen to her because I was right. Once I arrived at the hospital, honestly I would say I was happy and relieved to hear that she wasn’t going to be delivering my baby. Overall she might be a great doctor to others, but for me I never felt that she really cared of what I had to say.

She was very professional, patient and kind. She took the time to put me at ease and answered all of my questions and concerns. Would definitely recommend. Her staff was also kind, professional, and helpful.

Dr. Ghia is a total professional! My visit with her was perfect from beginning to end. As I had been seeing my previous doctor for over 30 years until her retirement, I definitely had some reservations about a new doc. Dr. Ghia exceeded my expectations. She listened to all my concerns and addressed each of them. Nice to know I won’t have to look for a new doctor for another 30 years!

Dr. Ghia has been my OB/GYN since I was 18 yrs old (17 yrs ago) and knows my history. She became my very first OB/GYN when I had a pregnancy that ended in a miscarriage and she was very empathetic about the situation which made me love her as a person and doctor instantly! She delivered my oldest son and continues to be a rockstar doctor!

Dr. Ghia has been my gynecologist for many years. I have always loved her for her compassion and knowledge. She has always been very friendly and kind as well. I would recommend her all day long.

Dr Ghia is great. The wait time was very quick and she was attentive and answered all questions that I had. I highly recommend her!

The doctor is fine and did her job well. I was taken into the exam room quickly and the nurse conducted the preliminary exam stats promptly. However I then waited for the doctor for a full half hour!

My daughter is a patient of Dr. Guía and it’s always the same story. My daughter is pregnant and this will be our first grandchild to the family. The family is always excited to hear about my daughter’s MD appointment and it’s always a bad one when it comes to this MD. Very rude, in a rush, rolls her eyes, very condescending. My daughter doesn’t want to speak against her but I will!!! I worked in the medical field 26 years and this is not the way to treat patients. First pregnancy should always be pleasant but this MD is always in a rush and always answers my daughter in a mean way. Not a good listener at all!!! She needs to change that attitude to get her patients to trust her. I certainly don’t want her there for the delivery of my first grandchild!!! 😤

It was my first time at her office, took my 15 year old daughter for her first visit with her, I called on my way there what there’s a big accident on the road and we will be running maybe 10 minutes late, her office staff said you guys are fine because we give 15 minutes grace time after the appointment so you’re ok, we were there at 3.14 and it took her 2 minutes to check in and she said you’re one minute late please come back and schedule another appointment, I requested to ask doctor because it’s only 1 minute, but doctor refused to see my daughter, I also work in a health care field, being a medical doctor you should have some compassionate for your patients, I am sorry I would not be scheduling appointment with Dr. Ghia, she must be a great doctor but lacks basic bedside manners for the patients.

It would be courteous & more respectful if the Dr. Ghia came in to review your recent history prior to the patient having to get into a gown with nothing underneath. YES, it takes a little more time, but it is so much more courteous, respectful, and thoughtful of the patient. As a nurse, I am always conscious of my client's comfort level. My previous gyne (who recently retired) did this for over 30 years. Dr. Ghia should consider this practice. No client likes to feel like a number. She should also be using hand sanitizer (or washing hands) in the presence of her client so that the client knows she performed hand hygiene between clients.
