Today was my first visit at Pinnacle Dermatology and I will HIGHLY recommend them to all my friends and family! Gabby and Carrie (i think that was the names, sorry!) were amazing!!! They made me feel so welcomed and really listened to my issues!
I am 67 years old and have been in many doctors and Dermatologist past few years I am very impressed by pinnacle Woodbury dermatology . My doctor Elissa Fung among the best , very knowledgeable and detailed & most of all careering. It takes very little extra afford be above average and excellent Doctor E. Fung is excellent.
Went in for two biopsies. A significant patch of skin removed from the side of my nose and my hip. Over a month later and the cut on my hip still hasn’t healed properly ( should have been stitched) and have not been notified of any results from the biopsy.
My mother had an appointment for today at 2pm. we left early b/c she was told to arrive 15mins before her scheduled time. it took us over 45mins to get to the Archer Ave office due to terrible traffic. We got there, only to be met with the Door LOCKED!! and a sign that read "OUT TO LUNCH!". (which I took a photo of) I tried calling, only to get automated messages that connected me to no one!! Who leaves an office when u know someone has an appointment?!?! I gotta love how the automated message says u "take same day walk ins"....YOU COULDN'T EVEN BE THERE FOR SOMEONE WHO HAD A SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT!!" Your hours posted online says u close at 3pm...her appointment was for 2pm. So...u take lunch an hour before u close?!? We are VERY upset & do NOT recommend using their services!
You cancel your appointment with appropriate time and they will still charge you $100.00 missed appointments fee.

I went to Dr. Davis for a few months, and because I'm 22 and relatively new to the medical world, it took me that long to figure out that the discomfort and frustration I was feeling meant this doctor was not worth my time or money. I repeatedly explained my symptom to him every time I came in, but he didn't know what it was and didn't seem to believe that I was experiencing pain, simply because it didn't line up with his diagnosis. When I chose not to buy another treatment he prescribed me since I didn't really trust his diagnosis, he made a comment about how I wasn't being responsible.We finally did a biopsy, where I had to ask for information about what was happening and was left to wait for a long time. Even though I clearly wasn't doing super well—I have anxiety and it definitely flares up in medical situations—the doctor's bedside manner was borderline rude, and the only thing he did to try and make me comfortable was pat my calf on the way out, which I found extremely inappropriate. I decided I would be done with this doctor after I got my stitches out, especially since the appointment left me anxious and a little nauseous all week.When we went over the results of my biopsy (which were, in fact, not the same as his original diagnosis), he did a horrible job explaining things to me. He was pretty arrogant considering the fact that he clearly had no clue what was wrong. Obviously, it's okay that he didn't know what was wrong, but he was putting in minimal effort to figure it out and seemed irritated at the questions I was asking, as if I should already know what he was talking about. I finally took the name of a couple doctors from him and left, and I'm hoping that someone else will at the very least put me a little bit more at ease in the room and listen well.Don't waste your time, especially if you're a young woman. You won't be respected, and I guarantee you can find someone more helpful than an older man who clearly thinks too highly of himself to even hear what you're saying.
Received an incorrect bill that we called to get resolved from the past 5 months. The number on the bill leads to a call center somewhere off shore who lie about being in Chicago,IL and raise a ticket for escalation. We have been assured from the last 4 times that they will call us back with resolution. Yet, nothing. What confuses me is the call center and why do they lie and why won’t you resolve the case?

Would absolutely not recommend due to billing. Got charged for a procedure that did not happen. I have been calling SINCE MARCH 2021 EVERY SINGLE MONTH. I am told they are escalating to resolutions and nothing happens. Still get a bill every month and go through the same thing. I am told by someone who is in another country call center that they cannot tranfer me to anyone. This is absolutely unacceptable and I have never dealt with worse patient service. Someone needs to be able to help me. I am not paying for a removal of a lesion that never happened!!
Pinnacle is horrible. The Dr. couldn't even diagnose bug bites. Trued dealing w\ the corporate office/HR and have been ignored for months. Can't get a response to any of my emails. Phone calls never get returned! Cost me thousands of dollars and can't even get anyone to return a phone call. Disgusting! There are thousands of other dermatologists out there, I suggest you find a different one. Not worth your time, money or aggravation.
Poor Dr Van Dam at the barrington location. He built a wonderful caring and honest business and then sold out to Rush and their corporate attitude. The doctor was fine. The front staff handed me a 7 page questionnaire yes 7 pages. They sold me on a full body skin exam which was simply the doctor looking at my skin for less than 5 minutes and using a hand held lighted magnifying glass. Upon check out the completely rude receptionist told me I had a $35 co-pay and when I asked what the itemized bill was she said she had no idea. They send the billing out and I could call back in a couple of days to find out what the charges were. WHAT!? There is something sad about what has happened to this doctors office. Don't bother going here. I will update the charges if I ever find out what they are.
I met with Dr. Beck for the first time the other day. She was amazing! She was knowledgeable and kind and made me feel very comfortable.

I've already submitted my review, but you deleted it because it was negative. Your billing is questionable at best. You continue to bill the full amount after submitting a claim to the insurer, receiving the EOB with the adjusted amount allowed, and receiving full payment from the insurer. For months, I've been telling you about it, but you keep sending bills trying to get paid the full, original amount. You have never even tried to contact me about it (original review submitted 12 days ago, 4 different phone calls with billing department in Illinois over several months). I've gone ahead and filed a complaint with the Indiana Attorney General Consumer Protection Bureau and a grievance with the insurance company. Does anyone want to pick up the phone and resolve this?
I took my child to the Monroe clinic. I felt the receptionist did not really give eye contact making me believe they didn’t care if we arrived or not. I had a question about my child on a new medication and no one had time even ask what I needed. I was told the staff was too busy even though I could see in the back an assistant sitting at the computer. How long would it take just to answer a simple question for one of your patients? So I moved to another doctor. I filled out the release form and followed up to make sure everything was in order. I was told my child’s records would be sent to the other office in 2 days. A week passed and my child had her first appointment and her records still was not at the new office. These people are just to busy to care about you individually.

Dr. Peter is the best! I’ve been seeing him for years at the Joliet location; he’s always friendly, thorough, and informative. I trust him 110%.
