Never on time always comes hour to hour and a half late makes patients wait up to 2 hours before seeing. He doesn't seem to care when you mention it to him he tells you to get a later appointment not that he's late. Then when you see him he's in and out of the room in about 2 minutes. I left the practice and found a better ophthalmologist someone who's on time and shows you some compassionate Care and spends time with you

I had a retinal detachment. Dr. Ahmad helped me with the detachment and subsequent surgeries. He also monitored after the surgeries for complications and was spot on in his diagnosis. He probably saved my eyesight.

After four surgeries back in 2010 and 2011, I still cannot see out of my right eye. I have since retired and moved up North. This year I requested copies of my records from their office. I was sent a form to complete for obtaining the files. After I submitted the form, I was told they no longer have the records, and that the paper documents were destroyed and never scanned in for future reference. Anyone see a problem with this?

Very short with me, wouldn't explain information that i needed and rude. Hopefully his care for the patients is better than his treatment of their family.

All I can say is this MD Saad Ahmed should not be practicing- He blinded my husband in 1 eye after surgery, he could not see and never will for rest of his life. The omen was the first time we were scheduled for surgery the electricity was out-so it was cancelled. Should have acted on this then and never returned.He has a personality like a wall and does not look you in the eye when talking to you. We have tried to find other specialist to try and correct the problem, To no avail, short of a retina transplant-his retina is fried. So beware everyone if you value your sight!!! No rating possible- he needs to QUIT practicing. BTW, another lady had same surgery right before my husband and next day I asked how she was doing and her husband said-she cannot see a thing!! I guess that's why he had to sign a release stating he was not responsible for any damage. WOW! Only in America...… Disgrace....

Dr. Saad did not explain anything before or after the procedure, he clearly was in a big hurry. After switching to another practice, I saw my medical records. I was shocked that Dr. Saad wrote he explained everything and answered questions. Also, there was an additional diagnosis in there, that was never told to me. Would not go there!
