Dr. Hayward is an excellent doctor, caring, he recognizes that we were human beings to him, not numbers to check. Right away pointed the reason of child’s excruciating pain.

Dr Samual Hayward saw a family member of mine on earlier this month (March 2020) and miss-diagnosed this patient with COVID19! The doctor diagnosed him only by looking at the patient he didn’t order any blood work or standard flu or seasonal virus panel. This doctor failed to rule out other diseases. This doctor was pressured by peers and only after the patient came back a second time ordered the flu and virus panel as a “favor”. All came back negative. Give the current state the Illinois government automatically send all flu and season virus panels to be tested for COVID and the results were negative. This doctor misdiagnosed a patient. His bedside manners are terrible.

Edward Elmhurst has bad docs. Hayward is a ED physician who doesn’t not know to diagnose. Did not ask for allergies when there are a bunch of allergies. He doesn’t know to match signs and symptoms. He will brush you off and send you home. Never coming back to him. Very rude when asked for an X-ray and said an X-ray doesn’t show tooth infection.

Took my 7 year old daughter in for a high fever and trouble breathing, Dr. Hayward was very attentive and caring. Would trust him again

From my experience with Dr. Hayward through elmhurst memorial hospital, he has demonstrated an ineptitude for accurately diagnosing patients based on clearly communicated symptoms. Coupling this with his apathy towards providing sufficient care, im writing this review in the hopes of raising awareness to his blatant disregard for the health of his patients. If this is the standard of care that is provided by the elmhurst memorial system, I suggest that you and your loved ones go elsewhere.
