They send you to collections over a $30 bill that we NEVER received!! How the hell do you do this to patients? We have a flex spending account so there is no reason why this can’t be paid! I am beyond pissed for the lack of consideration you have for your patients and the lack of training your staff has. We will be pulling out of Ascension and transferring to Bronson. At least they don’t hide behind a name that doesn’t respect or help their patients!!

‼️☠️I DO NOT recommend Sacred Heart Hospital on the Gulf in Post St Joe.☠️ ❌‼️ I was taken to Sacred Heart in Port St Joe Nov 22 after a serious auto accident. I will make a long story short I went in with excruciating pain in my R side after the accident. NO test were done to see if I have broken ribs. No CT etc was done on my head. The doctor had a horrible attitude and kept trying to push morphine on me after I said I did not want it. I WAS RELEASED THE FOLLOWING MORNING, I WAS THROWN IN THE LOBBY WITH SCRUBS ON AND AN ICE PACK AND NO RIDE HOME TO DESTIN!!! THE NIGHT BEFORE I WAS TOLD THAT THE MORNING STAFF WOULD FIND ME A RIDE AND THEY SAID SORRY WE TRIED AND WALKED AWAY! I WAS TOLD I DIDNT HAVE ANY BROKEN BONES WHEN IN FACT I FOUND OUT LATER AFTER GOING TO ER IN DESTIN I HAD 4 DISPLACED RIBS 8-11 WERE FRACTURED ON MY R SIDE AND DISPLACED!! SO I WAS THROWN IN THE LOBBY W/4 FRACTURED RIBS THAT COULD PUNCTURE MY LUNGS AND/OR OTHER MAJOR ORGANS and I COULD HAVE DIED!! This hospital is a JOKE!!!! I could go on but its not worth it STAY AWAY FROM SCARED HOSPITAL IN PORT ST JOE!!! ‼️☠️

Get out of the way so communication with doctors is possible. Ever since you bought out the company our doc was with, it has become increasingly difficult to make contact. And the good staff is leaving for better pay. I'll probably be following them. I'll also suggest my doctor look into changing who he's with.

you need to replace Mr. Gordon Ferguson at St. Thomas Health Rutherford in Murfreesboro, Tn. They switched to an Ascension owned call center and it is impossible to reach your doctor at New Salem Office. In June 2018, I made him aware that I had held for over 8 HOURS--while doing other computer work-and still no one answered. He promised that he would fix it. I have had the same problem with long wait times since, So have other people. I am in the process of meeting with an investigative reporter to bring these problems to the public. People tell me of 15, 30 , 45 minutes, hours, etc wait times. General call center practice is TWO MINUTES and then to keep checking back with absolute no longer than 5 minutes total, As you can see, these are not even close to being the norm. It is essential that you be allowed to contact your doctor within a reasonable time, I think it is time to end this failed experience with the call center and have calls go directly to the doctors offices. I have spoken to several doctors out there and they are as frustrated as the patients but--they are told to stop complaining, I will be filing complaints with the attorney general, licensing, medicare and blue cross and many other agencies to see how they can facilitate a change so patients can reach their doctors, Maybe they can withhold payments until this can be corrected

Ascension posted $1.6 billion in profits in the first three quarters of this year, yet shuts down community based hospitals and services without community involvement and disclosure.

Got charged $333 for urgent care that was neither urgent nor very caring (slow service, PA lackluster, etc). Now I have a bill that is over $400 and the hospital says I need t contact my insurance. Moral of this story is don't get sick out of town
