List of David Marmor's Reviews
He is caring and highly competent cardiologist!!
Seems like a nice guy but I would not recommend this doctor. He sent me away with chest pain and I had a heart attack a few months later. He didn’t order any tests and told me it was musculoskeletal. How he drew this conclusion without any basic tests is beyond me. I pray he learned from his mistake and doesn’t put any future patients in harms way.
I’ve never written a bad review for a doctor. These men and women literally do God’s work by healing the sick. I went to this doctor for chest pain and he sent me away informing me it’s musculoskeletal and to not be concerned. He looked at some basic labs my PCP had ordered about a month prior. He didn’t order any tests or even listen to my heart. As months went on I ignored the chest pain under his advise chalking it up to musculoskeletal pain as he had stated. Finally one day a few months later the pain was so bad I went to the ER and they discovered 90% blockage in the LAD. Had I continued to take this doctors advice I would have been dead. He seems like a nice guy but I pray pray pray he learned from my situation and will not put another patient in harms way. Not running any tests when a patient complains of chest pain is baffling. Regardless I would never send anyone I care about to see him and would steer clear.
Dr. Marmor saved my life!!! he was very professional caring and easy going. he made me feel comfortable and like I mattered. my wife felt the same way. I think he a wonderful doctor. the Corzine family loves dr. marmor
Easy to talk to, engaged in conversation, interest in our questions. Excellent explanation of medical situation and options. Considerate of family needs to know. Courteous, compassionate. Took initiative to contact medical team to keep others informed.
Dr. Marmor is an excellent doctor and cardiologist. He treats his patients with respect and actually listens to them. NorthShore University HealthSystem is very lucky to have him on staff.
When I went to go see him he yawned through my entire visit. He also yanked me list of questions I was reading out of my hands, and told me, "give them to me it will go quicker." And at the end he made fat jokes to me, about me. This was my 1st and only visit. I left Dr. Marmor's office crying. I feared if my life was in his hands, he would just let me die. He seemed to NOT care at all!!!
When I went to go see him he yawned thru the entire appt. Never apologizing once. He snatched my list of questions I was reading to him, and said" give me that, it will go quicker." And at the end, he made fat jokes to me...about me. It felt like I was in grade school being bullied. I have called his boss Veronica several times to report him. But, she has never returned my phone call. It makes me think she is covering for this Dr.
Excellent counsel.
For an initial visit, I felt that he showed little interest in me. Gave info that I could find on the internet and barely listened to my heart...certainly not a through checkup. Disappointing.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
