List of Christopher Smith's Reviews
Dr Smith is very knowledgeable and respectful of your time. You do not have to wait extra and his office staff is always quick to respond if you have questions or issues.
My daughter was being seen by Dr Smith and at the time his partner Dr Nagpal. After several admissions to the hospital and no results or weight gain we were scheduled for more tests. Dr Smith and Dr Nagpal continually pushed our scheduled testing back prolonging our daughters illness and hospitalization due to their own personal schedules. We were given ridiculous excuses like they had a dentist appointments etc. After several complaints we finally got the needed testing done and when there was still no answer to the issues our daughter was having we were told by Dr Smith that “this may be just the way she is and you need to accept that”. We immediately requested to be transferred to another local children’s hospital and quickly got the answers we were looking for. I have never seen worse bedside manner than I did from Dr Smith and his partner at the time. I WOULD NOT recommend seeing this provider.
Mr. Funny guy but very professional and alot of questions. My son and I felt very comfortable talking to him the 1st time. And the needed test is already scheduled. Thank you doctor Smith and everyone at the clinic. God bless you all.
Dr. Smith is amazing. He is gentle, knowledgable and efficient!
Dr Smith has always gone above what is expected of a Doctor. My daughter has been his patient for 7 years. He truly cares about his patients. The most recent example was when he called us on Easter Sunday just to see if my daughter was feeling better. That is true compassion.
I guarantee Smith has never heard of this…uneducated, but acts confident and condescending. Summary Show definitions Patients with POTS experience significant gastrointestinal symptoms. Current evidence suggesting that abnormal post-ganglionic sympathetic function could play a role in the pathophysiology of these GI abnormalities. Sympathetic fiber regulate motor and the postprandial GI peptides secretion. The focus of the present proposal is to determine glucose homeostasis, GI motility, and their association with GI and cardiovascular symptoms in POTS patients versus healthy controls. Furthermore, we will determine differences in these outcomes in POTS patients with and without evidence of postganglionic sympathetic fiber neuropathy. As a long-term goal, this study can lead us to understand the pathophysiology of common co-morbidities in patients with POTS to provide new treatment approaches and prevention strategies.
I took my daughter to see Dr. Smith and he is a great doctor. He listened as we explained my daughter symptoms, gave suggestions on things we should do, followed up with us on test results and made us feel more at ease with what was going on with her. my daughter loves when we go see him and his staff.
Dr. Smith is a good doctor. He's kind and patient and focused.. He listens well and asks a lot of questions. He helped diagnose my son, who is 9, with a food sensitivity issue and directed us to another good doctor/allergist, Dr. Chang. Dr. Smith is still involved in my sons treatment and still helping us when we need him. Hope this helps
If I could leave zero stars I would This guy is a jerk ! We trusted this man with our daughters health care and he totally screwed it up and now we just found out that he screwed up our chances of our daughter getting help from U of C for a special test in hopes to end her pain but now it's all gone and we have to start all over . So please never ever see this man for any reason he will only let you down and put your child in harms way .
He did not listen to what we had to say, he looked at my daughters chart and came up with his MISDIAGNOSIS without even doing an examination on her.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
