My mom was in the hospital a few times before she saw Dr.Lyon but she was sent away because she was by herself and there was a language barrier. I took my mom to see her urologist Dr.Mark Lyon. We did arrive late and we were walk in. We hoped they’d still take us and they did! Dr.Lyon made time to see my mom as his last patient and saw the scans of her kidney stones. They were huge kidney stones and my mom had been in so much pain! He made my moms appointment the next day for the procedure to laser her kidney stones as they were too large to pass. There was some wait time for the procedure but my mom was still seen right away. He and his staff went above and beyond for my mom. He truly cares for his patients and it shows. His staff were so nice to us and were so appreciative they took my mom in right away. Thankyou for all you do!

I was very pleased with the care I received from Dr. Lyon. He removed my large kidney stone with just one procedure. Because of the size of the stone and my condition, I was told that it might take a few times to remove it. He was able to do it in one setting. He also did a great job removing my stent. Very professional and engaging.

Dear Dr. Lyon, As I suffered from a urological problem last week , and was in need of immediate care, you had the willingness and professionalism to see me that morning at the request of my primary care physician. You gave me instant relief and for that I will be forever in your debt. Your professional credentials speak for themself. My husband went to Palos Hospital thru the ER with severe abdominal pain. The ER Dr did a CT scan and my husband was diagnosed with kidney stones. Once admitted Dr Sylora wanted to see if the stones would pass on there own. After 24 hours my husband couldn’t pass them so Dr Lyon had to surgically remove the stones. He placed a stent in and my husband was sent home for a week. We then went to his office to have the stent removed. Dr Lyon and his staff were very professional and helpful. We have a follow up appointment in a few weeks. My husband and I couldn’t be happier the results. We highly recommend both Dr’s to anyone looking for a Urologist!

Never in my 78 years of health care providers have I ever had a provider as warm and comforting as Dr. Mark Lyon. I first met Dr. Lyon after spending a good bit of time in Christ Hospital being treated for a heart condition and frequent urinary tract infections. From the first visit to Dr. Lyon's office, I knew I had found someone who truly cared for my comfort and success in treating my condition. I have had occasion to visit Dr. Lyon's offices over the past two years. Each visit is anticipated without fear or anxiety. Dr. Lyon and his friendly, helpful staff have always been helpful and efficient.
