Awesome doctor and caring staff! Dr. Lee is the best. He is educated, experienced and empathetic! I have had the best experience one could with a retinal detachment.

Checked in a few minutes early. Then sat for 15 minutes. Saw a member of the staff and answered a number of questions, mostly irrelevant to an eye exam. Then sat for 15 more minutes. Saw another staff person for a preliminary exam. Then sat for 15 more minutes. Finally saw the doc for a follow-up check. Not a very pleasant experience. Clearly, everyone’s time is valuable. It wasn’t very clear they respected mine. “Bedside manner” could use some work.

My eye Dr refered me to illonois retina, Dr Lee. HE is a very nice man, he and his staff explained everything that was going to happen and why. Ended up having a laser procedure due to the issue he found. He and his associate again explained everything. After a day like it was explained to me sight is better. Very nice people.
