It’s a Great place to work!!! Very flexible with the hours. Friendly environment!
Beware. The ACA requires the provider to tell you the price of a procedure. I was given this price and proceeded. Later they decided to bill for more than quoted. The continued to bill UHC with different codes to try to milk more money from my insurance. A year later I received a bill. Crooked, fraudulent accounting.
This company seems to be in financial distress. They utilize medical professionals from other staffing companies, yet don't pay the Invoices. If you call them, they will give you the run around.Unethical, unprofessional. Would not do business with them.
Did a good job on surgery and all but trying to get to customer service to resolve a bill is impossible
Windy City anesthesia only has one star and now I know why. I was not put in a twilight correctly. So I fought with everyone when I was out. I came out of the procedure with a detached retina and no one will tell me what happened. I've been waiting on Windy City to call me back. It's been teo weeks.
Wonderful experience! I had my first lithotripsy in April 2019. I did not know what to expect. I immediately was put at ease when Windy City came into the room. Everything was explained to me in detail. They took a thorough history on me, too. I was very relaxed for the procedure, and they did a great job. I did get a followup phone call, also, asking how I was doing - that was very nice. Thanks to my not-so-good insurance, I was able to be set up on a payment plan, too, and it was very easy to do. Again, very nice people, and I hope you get them if you need to be put under for anything!
The anesthesiologist in Omaha did a great job. However I can't give this group a good review. We have been paying on my son's anesthesia bill since June of 2017 and have yet to receive an updated statement. In fact this group is borderline impossible to reach if you have a question about your bill. We have tried numerous times to get an updated statement with no luck. The only time my wife got ahold of someone they told her it was her job to track down all the payment info and get back to her. We tried, no one has answered a phone it written back to any of our emails or letters. Pros: the anesthesiologists seem legit and do good work Cons: customer service is beyond a joke.
I had an operation with a provided who used Windy City. I was not informed by Windy City that they were an out of network provider. Upon receiving my bill of over $2000, I tried working with Windy City to reduce/pay my bill. There response and service to my request was terrible. After 8 months of trying to work with them, not my lack of trying, they turn me over to collections even though I paid and was in agreement of the balance. The collection agent was wonderful - in contacting Windy City they couldn't find my file, didn't let me know they were turning me over and when asked, "oh yeah I see her payment". Thanks for nothing!
Very very unprofessional! My daughter is 9 and was supposed to have foot surgery in outpatient facility. Soon as we arrived, I found out that they did not had anesthesia machine or CO2 monitor. They were going to push propofol to 9 year old and assumed she was breathing fine. Would not recommen to anyone!
Can't remember the name of the person (because I was knocked out) - but super cool, answered all questions and sat with me in the recovery room even. A+++!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
