Lee Christine Sesslar's Online Review Report Card

I haven't been to the doctor in over 4 years she asked me minimal questions about my general heath or concerns. She gave me a quick pelvic exam and asked her nurse to get me a card with a number on it to set up a mammogram. She told me I should lose 40 pounds and make sure I'm eating enough dairy. I am lactose Intolerant and 190 pounds 5'4 and 46 years old. She asked if I ate out a lot and about exercise - and I told her actually no we hardly ever eat out, I stopped drinking 6 weeks ago and I go for an occasional walk but don't have a gym membership or anything. Her only response was well not drinking will lower your calorie intake and ...well is it a brisk walk? because you need to walk briskly! I wanted her to talk to me about menopause and my colon health. I guess it's my fault for not demanding Abit more of her time and asking the right questions. But doctors know how uncomfortable it is to see them right? I mean it had been nearly 5 years for a reason!!! Will not be back

This my first pregnancy.. I had some bleeding beginning of my second trimester I called the office because I was concerned everything I read said there should be no bleeding at all.. so I was concerned.. I was told by dr sessler it was completely normal and nothing to worry about.. she didn’t even see me in office how did she know nothing was wrong?? She always rushed visits, never answered my questions made me feel stupid. Like I was suppose to know everything already she always made it seem like I was wasting her time. She told me she didn’t understand why I was so worried I needed to just relax she knows how to do her job. I defiantly do not recommend sessler. Waited in her cold office for half the day to see.. she her super careless doesn’t take the time to explain anything to you. I have tons of questions but I feel like I can’t ask her because she rushes you out of the office talks down to you. She gave terminated my care after I saw the dr on call due to some bleeding I had and was concerned in my second trimester because she would not see me. Not a good first impression. I’m a first time mom and I’m scared and Nervous and she doesn’t make me feel comfortable she did a Pap smear and it hurt I’ve had several done before nothing like hers do not go to her stay away

Makes good eye contact and seems very knowledgeable about my gynecological problem. Was gentle and efficient with biopsy procedure.

Angry and cold

My daughter and I are new patients of Dr. Sesslar and our experience was awesome. We both had health problems that were handled very well. Her nurse Jill was so sweet and kind to my daughter who was very nervous. I can’t say enuff for the entire staff from the front desk to the ultrasound girl the medical assistant and most of all Dr. Sesslar and her nurse. I’m so happy we Findlay found a great doctor!

Dr. Sesleer is always rushed, not enought time spent with her patients she talks to you while walking out the door so you gotta rush in your concerns. Her nurse is plain rude and unsensitive unless you give an attitude back they won't listen. Changing my doctors ASAP the girls at the front are nice and the nurse assistant is by far the sweetest and nicest.

I've been going to Dr. Sesslar for 6 years. She's been great and very proactive with my care. I have had a successful IUD placement and would trust her with my care in the future. I had a fibroadenoma during my first trimester and the radiologist determined it was not necessary to remove it. Dr. Sesslar did not agree and suggested I visit a breast surgeon. The surgeon said the tumor was growing and would interfere with my ability to breastfeed. Thanks to her concerns, I am now able to breastfeed my baby. While in labor, Dr. Sesslar spent a lot of time with me to ensure I was comfortable. She addressed all my concerns and did a fantastic job delivering my daughter. I wouldn't ask for another doctor. Her staff is wonderful and very personable. They always made sure my weekly appointments fit into the schedule. When scheduling an obstetrics appointment, it was easy getting into see Dr. Sesslar. It is more difficult to get a gynecology appointment due to the OB appointments taking priority. The only complaint I have is she does not deliver all her patients babies. It depends on who is on call the day you go into labor, so there is a chance she delivers, but it is not guaranteed. She is kind and takes the time to address any questions or concerns. I highly recommend Doctor Sesslar.

She's okay but a little rude, her staff is not any better & to make an appointment and get in is really hard.

Dr. Sesslar is patient, thorough, and caring. Excellent staff, excellent bedside manners, Accommodating to this Mother of 5. She is AWESOME!
