List of Timothy Laurie's Reviews
My mom has seen Dr. Laurie the last several years and has had some irregular colonoscopies. Dr. Laurie was very thorough in finding out what was causing this and developing a plan to move forward. My mom gets very confused by medical things so she called me today and put me on speaker phone during her appointment. I was pleasantly surprised by how much time he spent with us explaining everything and answering questions. He was both very knowledgeable and also very personable and caring. I'm really pleased with the care he's providing my mom!
Dr. Laurie helped figure out what was wrong with me (sphincter of Odi disorder) and also during an endoscope found that I had gastroparesis. After literally years and years and several doctors and specialists it was only doctor Laurie who listened to me and based on questions and what I told him, he then ordered specific tests and was able to pinpoint the problem and fix it. I decided to go to a closer doctor and now have returned to Dr. Laurie. The commute is worth it!!
Dr. Laurie was difficult to get hold of and didn't return my messages. Furthermore he contradicted himself on the timing of a preventative colonoscopy (PC)- advising that I get a condition taken care of in advance when I first met with him. However as the date approached and the other condition wasn't fully managed - he then advised I have the colonoscopy - immediately lost credibility with me. His billing staff was also difficult to deal with. Will be going elsewhere for my PC.
My mother had an ulcer and received a prescription from this doctor. She was allergic to penicillin and I called the office 3 times to resolve and no call back or resolution. 5 days later had to get another doctor to help.
Honestly the best doc I've seen in ages. Actually tore away from what he was writing to look at me and listen to what I was saying. He made a step by step plan with me, told me what he thinks the diagnosis is, and made me feel very comfortable and safe in his care. The reason I chose Laurie in the first place is because he is one of the few doctors at the hospital who is consistently kind to the nurses - which says a lot.
After 7 doctors I FINALLY found Dr. Laurie and his amazing staff. I have ulcerative colitis and have been through it all. He has been by my side and more then helpful through everything! His Nurse Angie is BEYOND AMAZING and will go above and beyond her duties to make sure you are well taken care of. Dr. Laurie has seen me at my worst and my best and is truly the BEST GI you will find. I never feel rushed and always feel like a priority at the office. Go here you won't regret it!
Very kind and compassionate doctor.
Dr. Laurie goes above and beyond. He really listens to what you are saying and sincerely cares. His nurse Angie is also amazing. She is so kind and you can tell how much she cares about you as the patient. Dr. Laurie ALWAYS calls me back when I am having any type of problem. I wish all doctors had the wonderful bedside manner like Dr. Laurie. I know I am in extremely good hands with him.
He was very calm, and showed a deep interest for my health and well being. He is definitely knowledgeable, and I had no problem trusting him. Over all, a good human being that truly cares. I highly recommend him. I doubt anyone would ever have a problem with him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
