Ashley Muhr's Online Review Report Card

I had been seeing Muhr for the past 10 years. She even managed the care of a few of my family members, based on my suggestion. I watched her change from a caring, kind, detail orientated provider to one whose most common response is a visibly frustrated "I can't help you with that." I get it... specialists are required for just about everything now, but- she just brushes you aside as though you wasted her time. She shrugs her shoulders and says, "you could see so and so I suppose..." Well, Dr. Muhr, I waited to see you... my primary care physician. What is it that you treat anymore? Medicine is hard, but so is being a patient who feels they have no advocate. She's leaving Northwestern soon. I hope she finds a location where she can practice with genuine kindness and caring again. Guessing the NM machine may have worn her down.

When she prescribed me an inhaler and I inquisitively asked about it, she became argumentative and rude. The appointment was very rushed after her demeanor changed. When I answered her questions she became condescending and acted like I was supposed to know something that I couldn't have known. Very simply put, she used to be caring and considerate, now she has very little patience and a short fuse. Don't ask her any questions or she will think you are trying to argue!

Dr Muhr is efficient and thorough. Most thorough physical I have had. Results are reviewed promptly. Trust her care!

Dr Muhr is not very detail oriented, or professional. My Experience - The doctor was unable to properly write a 30 day prescription of medication. The dates were all wrong on the prescriptions. I had to call the physician's office and walgreens to try work it out. When I called the physicians office and complained because 2 of the 3 prescriptions had the wrong date. The physicians nurse acted like "What are you going to do about it???" I found a new doctor.

Very thorough

Dr. Muhr is very attentive and thorough. She is personable, easy to talk to and a good listener. Easy to schedule. She follows up with other doctors caring for patient. She is competent and follows through with referrals.

Dr. Muhr is very friendly and was very helpful with my diagnosed. She's always in a good mood. One of the bet doctors I have ever seen.

Condescending, made he feel like I was lying about my symptom's, and told me it was all mental and I would need to go to Mayo clinic to find out what was wrong with me. This was on the last visit and she did not even check my ears, throat or mouth! Denied me an antibiotic to get relief. Visited an ENT and I have chronic Tonsillitis! She upset me so much then, I get a letter from her stating that I displayed aggressive and threating behavior and she would call the police on me. Wow just wow

I am really glad I found Dr Muhr. She listens to you and never makes you feel uncomfortable. She will run tests or give you a referral if you are having health concerns. She answers your questions and doesn't make you feel rushed. She will get back to you right away with your results or messages. I highly recommend Dr Muhr.

Dr Muhr truly cares. She listens, never makes you feel rushed, actually carries on a conversation to determine what may be amiss as well as what might help. I honestly have never had a doctor I trust as I trust her. She takes your concerns seriously, never be-littles anything you say or feel, and will direct you if a specialist is needed. She is the best doctor I have ever had!
