awful. We waited 40 mins after our scheduled appointment time. Then when the dr finally came in she was annoyed that my baby was crying (she's a BABY). Was annoyed that my baby didn't enjoy being put in a pavlik harness. My husband is a paramedic and said he watched the Dr aggressively tighten the boots on the harness because she was annoyed my baby wouldn't sit still. I took the harness off my daughter tonight to give her a bath (even though the dr told us not to). Her ankles had deep indentations from how tightly the boots were put on! If i had waited a week for the next dr appointment who knows what would have happened to her feet in that time with poor circulation. The dr was not happy or compassionate at all. We are switching immediately.

Dr. Lemke is extremely caring and professional. She takes time with her patients and ensures she is giving them the attention and care they need. She corrected our son’s club feet and performed the surgery on his Achille’s tendons. I would highly recommend Dr. Lemke.

My son Lucas broke his elbow on the very last day of school. Dr.Lemke did an amazing job on my sons surgery. I was so nervous but she’s very good and friendly. Thanks to Dr.Lemke he got his cast off today. I’m so happy he has such a great doctor. Thank you Dr.Lemke great surgeon!!!

Two of our children have seen Dr. Lemke for a variety of conditions for the last 16 years. We followed her as she has changed from practice to practice. My daughter had a back injury, weak joint problems, and a broken arm that she successfully. Treated. My son had a broken toe and, more significantly, a sudden onset of scoliosis. She was very particular about who made and adjusted the back brace (Jim Shrader with Sheck and Siress in Naperville). I drove further to go there but am glad we did. He, like Dr. Lemke, is meticulous and pays attention to detail. He made the interesting comment that Dr. Lemke compared to most doctors is very particular about how the brace is made and how it is fit and adjusted with time. I find it very difficult to believe these other reviews that allege she was rude or unprofessional. After seeing her 20 or more times I think I would have seen this side of her. In general, expect to wait if your appointment is in the afternoon.

We had been seeing Dr. Lemke for quite some time for my son's feet. Besides the long wait times in the office, we really had no issues with her until it came to figuring out his surgical plan. We discussed things and figured out(at least I thought) what the plan would be. She said she would get back to us ASAP to finalize everything and set a date. Well, 2 weeks goes by, nothing. She is very very bad orthopedic doctor. Don't go to this Doctor, never.

I brought my 14 year old daughter in the day after a volleyball accident and E.R. visit , where I was told my daughter had a BROKEN leg....Dr. Lemke came in an announced "so you have a sprained ankle" she didn't seemed to have reviewed the x-rays before hand and claimed it just "looked" like a sprain, she was condescending to my daughter and myself and after a less then 5 minute consult, left instructions with the nurse that my daughter was to put her full weight on it , all in SEVERE PAIN!

I brought my daughter (11)in to see dr. Lemke after persistent pain in her lower back following a traumatic .Dr. Lemke came off like she had better things to do than to waste her time seeing my daughter. She even made a sny comment to my daughter while preforming a strength test on her legs. I beleive her exact words were, "there is a difference between not being able to do something, and giving up", after a 3rd opinion, we found out she fractured her L5 of her spine.
