Dr Chung made me feel very comfortable with a all around uncomfortable procedure. He contacted me directly on a couple of occasions to discuss results and his plan. He explains all the details until you completely understand. I was very impressed by him and his staff. Very nice man that is very educated with a excellent bedside manner!

Dr chung has done three surgeries for me. All three were due to a hernia in my stomach and he has always taken great care of me. He explains everything he is going to do and explains all the side effects and what can happen. He is the best surgeon I have found that genuinely cares about his patients and keeps up with how they are doing after surgery. He makes sure you are comfortable even when the surgery isn't. If you want an amazing surgeon chung is the one to go to.

Our daughter had to go to the Gibson City hospital with possible complications from a surgery he performed for her in the fall. He was the on call surgeon on this evening and he refused to see her. When I called to find out why the next day I couldn't get an answer from the office staff. I asked him to call me and he returned the call but was extremely rude, lied about not wanting to see her, then stated he did not owe us an explanation, that it was a medical decision and to not call his office

I had the first GERD surgery done at Gibson Hospital and was treated exceptionally by Dr. Chung and the entire staff at the hospital. I would have ended up with asophagal cancer or worse if it wasn't for Dr Chung. Gibson City is very lucky to have a specialist like him. I suffered for so long, so many years so I guess he is my Angel.

Dr. Chung is polite and very professional. I was asking a lot of stupid questions and he was very understanding. The procedure went smoothly and the follow up was great. Wait time at the office was a bit long during my first visit.
