Heather Cushing Gynecology's Online Review Report Card

I will never return, and I will never recommend Dr. Cushing to anyone. I found her curt, detached, and preoccupied. Moreover, I had a concerned family member who asked a few clarifying questions on the diagnosis. She was extremely bothered by this and dismissed these very valid questions - rushing to get out the door after a mere few minutes with us. While I understand this is vitriol, I feel it is well-warranted feedback. Dr. Cushing needs to worry more about the wellbeing of her patients and assuaging their concerns if she expects people to trust her with their health.

I went to Dr. Cushing for about 7 years, but not anymore. Unfortunately, I went in seeking some help with more of a holistic approach, and she was unwilling to help. Appointments felt rushed and I did not feel comfortable asking questions for fear of her disagreeing with me and making me feel small. Two women close to me also had this intimidating experience-- which you especially do not want in these type of appointments and care. I do not recommend.

In my experience, Dr. Cushing was a harsh communicator and not a very gentle listener. Rather than thoughtfully explaining her opinions, she holds to them as facts and makes you feel ridiculous for having perspectives that vary from her own. I felt intimidated to ask questions, which is the opposite of what you want in women’s health let alone out of any doctors apt. A friend of mine had the same experience. I would not recommend her.

Dr. Cushing is such a caring doctor. She is very knowledgeable with everything female. She is great with HRT, for women like myself. The night sweats, not to mention lack of sleep, hot flashes, wherever, whenever, hormones don't care. But Dr. Cushing cares. What a difference she has made in my life!

Dr. Cushing's expertise in gynecology has been exceptional as I navigate through the stages of life beyond childbearing. Not only is she highly knowledgeable, but she also takes the time to genuinely listen and address any concerns I may have. I've been a patient for well over 10 years, and I find her to be trustworthy and attentive. Dr. Cushing is a healthcare professional whom I wholeheartedly recommend.

I seen this gyne for a couple years but no more. Everything was good until my last appt. She decided to tell me that if someone without arms or legs could lose weight so could I. I understand that weight gain is not good for your patients health but there is a standard for bedside manner. During the appt many things were discussed and every response was you need to lose weight. Another reference was how do you think pressure on a bladder isn't going to have issues. It's like have a 10lb bag on top of it. I'm not sure if she was just having a bad day and I happened to just be on the receiving end. I will never go to her again. I was also refused to have a pap during this annual appt. It was very disappointing.

Helpful information and discussion. Office is time efficient without feeling rushed.

Dr Cushing is wonderful! You can feel confident that you are getting the best care. Highly recommend.
