I have been a client of Dr. Chen over many years. I have always had fantastic results and out-of-body experiences from his acupuncture treatments that are beyond belief. I am needle-phobic but I have never had anything but a great experience. He is amazing.

This review is long due. Three years ago, I felt an excruciating pain in my left leg. Visited my doctor. He couldn't find anything - recommended me to a neurologist. The neurologist told me to " keep an eye." Beginning this year, my neck, arms, and left foot started giving me issues: numbness in my left sole, jamming sensation in the neck, fingers would twitch sometimes when I exercised, and more. Visited an orthopedic doctor. This doctor took 18 X-rays and MRIs then told me that (1) I had sciatica and a cyst in my spine. He advised me to immediately schedule an appointment with the "best" spine surgeon he knew of in town to have the cyst removed asap. Being Asian and having a deep respect for Eastern medicine, I scoured the internet in search of an acupuncturist. I stumbled upon EWHC. I contacted Dr.Chen. He told me to bring all my MRIs. I scheduled an appointment, drove across two states with hubby, and went through four 30- minute acupuncture and TuiNa technique sessions at his clinic. After the first treatment, it felt as if my neck, back, leg, and the sole of my left foot were 95% healed. Dr.Chen studied the location of the cyst and said no surgery was needed. That made my day! By the end of the fourth treatment, 98% of my issues were gone! Convinced, hubby visited Dr.Chen for his ankle pain before we left town. Hubby's ankle is feeling much better too! Dr.Leon Chen at EWHC is a true expert. It was so worth driving two long days to receive top notch treatment and quality care at EWHC. The office experience was great as well. A lovely lady at the front desk was super polite, too. And that 2%? I'm already planning my follow up wellness visit with Dr. Chen. And oh, that TuiNa technique? That was SUPER! Highly recommend EWHC.

can diagnose which meridians are off and bring relief with needles but extremely limited in sharing info with the patient. Seems like he just wants to work 2 minutes with a patient, insert needles , collect the money and leave him the heck alone! expensive, too.

Our family has send Dr Chen for years. He is truly the best when you are having a health issue and may need acupuncture. I have sent so many people to him and they all say he is better than anyone else they have seen for the same condition. Joint/muscle problems, headaches, anxiety, sleep issues, cancer (radiation/chemo) recovery, we have seen Dr Chen and can’t say enough good things about him.
