What really made my experience was the receptionist with the head scarf. She was really kind and sweet. The receptionist was very patient with me and guided me through the process. 5/5

Dr. Stone said I needed orthotics and told me they would cost "about $400" and would be covered by my health insurance. Six months later they billed my insurance for $720. Insurance paid $249.66 and applied $277.39 to my deductible and $27.73 to my copay. When I spoke to the doctor's office and explained that I would not have ordered them if I had been told they were $720, they told me "that's just what we bill the insurance". She went on to tell me that if I had no insurance, the total cost would only be $485. So they expect me to pay $305.12 ($277.39 plus $27.73) on top of the $249.66 my insurance company already paid for a total of $554.78. As a result, they are charging more and making more simply because an insurance company is involved.

Doctor Zobin was very professional and insightful about any questions I had, and did a great job during my appointments. I don’t tend to get a very genuine interaction with physicians; but he was very kind, open, honest, and laid back, yet professional.

I came to this practice for a 2nd opinion. My previous doctor said I needed foot surgery. Three weeks after my initial appointment here my foot is fine.

Wish I would have read the refers before booking an appt. Filled out my paperwork ahead of time, got to my appt on time. After collecting photo ID, Insurance card, etc., the receptionist went back to let the doctor know I was ready. The receptionist came out immediately and said the doctor was running behind it would be 45-1 hour!! ridiculous!!! I would have appreciated a call letting me know prior to driving thru all sorts of traffic to get there and be asked to wait close to an hour. Another self-important doctor with no concern for any of her patients. TG I didn’t get some botched surgery like another reviewer! Find another doctor!!

BEWARE. My first appointment went well with Dr. Leapman but interestingly enough she is leaving the practice. I had a follow up appointment scheduled, rearranged my day to make it, and when I arrived they had me scheduled with a different doctor. I kept the appointment with this second doctor (Dr. Grace) as it wasn't easy to make up. Dr. Grace would not tell me what my file said about how many spots were treated on my 1st visit. It is like asking a dentist how many fillings they did last visit and the dentist not answering. I repeated my question because it was important for my care for me to figure out if one of the third spots may have cleared up from previous visit, but she just turned around and left the exam room without a word. You never know what people are carrying so I do hope all is will be well with Dr. Grace, but I also don't think she's able to communicate clearly with her patients and it's best with everyone's valuable time to seek another doctor for foot care.

5 months ago I am very disappointed with Northshore Foot and Ankle and especially Dr. Kamur. I started out seeing Dr. Grace for a problem with my left foot, but after 3 visits with her and she was not really doing anything to help me, I started seeing Dr. Kamur for the same problem with my left foot. I decided on a treatment of a series of shots to help with nerve pain in my foot after talking with Dr.. Kamur, because she told me it would help kill off the nerve and I could avoid surgery. Well 7 shots in and it has not helped at all. Now I need surgery and I am stuck with this huge bill from all of these shots that didn't help and they want all of the money paid now before they will even consider doing surgery, and I have been and still am in the most excruciating pain ever. I called and set up a payment plan with their billing department already. I have also left messages for Dr. Kamur to see if I can speak with her about what she may think I should do, or to just discuss more about the surgery, but she will not return my calls or messages, she just forwards them to the Billing Department. To say I am disappointed and hurt with the way I've been treated by Dr. Kamur is an understatement. I feel like they kept me coming back just so they could grow this bill out of control and I still don't have any relief from this pain. I have no problem with paying my bill, and I do not have a problem honoring my responsibilities, but I guess money means more than a patient's well being. Very sad I feel like I have to keep adding on to this post. Today is Monday Nov. 8th, 2021. I just left the Grayslake office, irs 4:00pm. I filled a Medical Records form and brought it to this office. The receptionist took my paper, I asked could they please make sure to include any ultrasound images and results. The receptionist immediately got an attitude with me. And they are going to bill me for the copies of my medical records which I included my credit card number for them to charge. I'm not understanding the attitude and total rudeness from this women. I have never in my life ever been to a doctor's office where the doctors and staff are exceptionally rude for whatever reason. I am just trying so hard to understand all of this. Dr. Kamur won't return any if my voice messages and her staff is acting so nasty because I asked for my records. For anybody who is thinking about coming to Northshore Foot and Ankle, you better think again, because these are some of the most rudest, snide comment making group of people i have ever seen. Not one call back to try and see what the issue is from Dr. Kamur at all. I still just can't believe i have dealt with them for almost a year for the same problem with my left foot, still with no help, no relief and no care from no one at Northshore Foot and Ankle. They did even have a reply for this post.. Again just so very disappointed in them.

Efficient, friendly and professional staff. Dr Grace has been great for my child and myself.
