Dr Brindise was very courteous, professional and attentive to my concerns. She addressed all of my concerns quickly, carefully and professionally. I could also say the same about all of the staff in the office - it seemed very well organized and well-run. Also worth mentioning: I didn't wait long after arrival before being seated in the room with the nurse and the doctor arrived only minutes later. I was very happy with my visit, plan to be back for yearly checkups and will happily recommend Dr Brindise and The Derm to friends and family.

I didn't want to give her even one star. I saw Dr Renata Brindise for some white spots on arm and a white patch. She misdiagnosed the white patch. She said it's vitiglo autoimmune disease. She then says punch biopsy will make it sure. I then asked her what does she think it is before doing any biopsy. She then changed it to 3 different things, saying it could be this it could be that, if we do biopsy it will be clear. She did not use any wood lamp or anything , she just looked at it and straight said it's vitiglo, later she says if it's all over then it's easy to say but since it's only one patch biopsy should be done. I did not tell her I will get a biopsy, but she asked her assistant to prep for biopsy, later she tells me you will get one stitch, and then I said I don't want to do it I was not prepared for it. Then she says ok you can come back in one or 2 weeks and get it done when prepared. I have seen many great doctors in my life, but no one says anything with so much confidence unless they are sure about it. She said it with confidence straight that it's vitiglo and then later changed it and asked for biopsy. The amount of mental stress her wrong diagnosis has caused me can't be expressed in words. Her clinic was nothing great, there was a rusted old table in the room. I don't know if hospitals have to keep these things in check, may be health department does it. Why would you cause so much stress for the patient if you are not sure about something. Why do million guesses. She just has 5-6 years experience and that showed in her diagnosis. I saw a great specialist, a very known doctor and he had a look at it for max 4 seconds and said it's nothing what she said. Will never go back to her nor recommend her to anyone.

The Derm is one outstanding place to do business. They take customer service seriously. I was lucky to receive an appointment within a day of my call. This was my 2nd experience with them.Once there, I was informed of policy and given the paperwork to fill out. They were prompt with getting me in to the exam room. Dr. Brindise walks in and she has this huge smile and such friendliness in her greeting You feel better already. Thorough exam, explanation and treatment was given and then they want to know do you have any other questions or concerns. I did and may have forgotten about if not prompted.I highly recommend this practice.
