Steven R. Boas Md's Online Review Report Card

I have been going to this office for multiple years and have never had an issue in this office. They give every person the time and respect they deserve. I have been to the office twice now since the COVID-19 pandemic started, and I have felt incredibly safe and taken care of. They have several extra precautions taken to ensure the patients’ safety when coming in and out of the office. The staff all wear the correct ppe and ensure that they provide safe and quality healthcare.

Dr. Boas is a good doctor. He did not speak down to my 12 year old and he explained everything to us all patiently, calmly and in ways that were easy to understand. He is very knowledgable and made us comfortable to ask questions, no rush. So glad we found him.

Beware Cancellations - quote from bill: "Office confirmed appt w/ Dad 5 min later Dad cancelled will call back to reschedule. Dad called back to cancel APPT gave no reason W/C to R/S APPT" We were under no obligation to go to this follow up appointment and calling back 5 minutes later is a reasonable period of time. The office did not ask why we couldn't make it (we actually told them why voluntarily apparently they didn't' listen) and did not notify us and then we receive a bill several weeks later!

" we were not told that we were getting a change when we called back (5 minutes later!) and not asked for a reason, if one was necessary they should have asked - we had a valid reason. And, this was a follow up after several other follow up appointments we were under no obligation to go to the office again unless we felt it was necessary. We made no promises as to the number of appointments.

I have had nothing but excellent care from Dr Boas and his staff since my very first visit, they always answer all my questions, they are kind and courteous, easy to work with, they go above and beyond with any help I needed to get started with my home care, and above all else they care about people. Dr Boas and his staff have turned my health completely around for the better, they listen, they help, and they care, what more could you ask for from your physician and staff. Thank you for everything.

Dr. Boas has been awesome for the almost 15 years my two sons have been going here. He and his staff are always so friendly, attentive, and professional. He always makes my children smile and with him we are confident that they are in good hands health wise!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Boas for over ten years now. He has always been extremely personable and hospitable and has taken great care of me throughout the years. Every now and then there can be a wait, but nothing out of the ordinary for a busy doctor.

I have no worries knowing we have Dr. Boas and his wonderful staff taking care of our children. It is nice to have that much trust in a doctor where you don’t have to worry. We have seen Dr. Boas for about 15 years and appreciate everything he does. He takes time with each patient and you know he cares. My kids love him.

Dr. Boas has been my CF doctor for over 20 years. He is amazing!! He is always friendly and takes time to talk and go over everything. His staff is always very nice and welcoming. I highly recommend Dr. Boas!

Dr. Boas is AMAZING! I can't imagine my daughter's life without him. He is THE premier doctor in the entire midwest for Cystic Fibrosis care. We get boutique treatment, he and his staff are available literally around the clock, he gives quarterly talks about the latest research and development in Cystic Fibrosis treatment, and he works tirelessly to make us feel like we're part of his family. I am beyond grateful to Dr. Boas and his team.
