My family and I have been going to him for 10+ years. We all love him and will be switching networks just to stay with him
I have gone to Dr. Margolin for a few issues in the last couple years. The ladies at the desk are very friendly and Dr. Margolin will take care of any issue you have and quickly. I trust him 1000 percent to address any health issue I have.
Staff and physician are completely unprofessional.
No nonsense Doctor who has helped me with several issues. I will continue to see him. Office Staff has always been professional and friendly to me. It is a busy office but most reputable doctor offices are.
Dr. Margolin is by far one of the best physicians that my family has had historically. While, he's a very busy doctor and tends to overly multi-task during scheduled appointments. His compassionate demeanor and genuine concern can not be overstated.Understandably, Dr. Margolin's occasional passive disposition can be a little off-putting at times. I'm confident in his abilities to seek answers and provide the care that is necessary for my family and for myself. As, a current patient, I am satisfied! :)
Dr. Margolin is the best doctor in lake county he doesn't give up on you has the time to help you out on what u have going on and he is a excellent doctor staff is really friendly and try to get u in as soon as they can i recommend him
Extremely inpatient and rude! I hate having to call his office !
I had gone to Doctor Giron when I had Graves’ disease and a stroke. He was very good. He even took an emergency call when I had severe pain in my neck and did a great job diagnosing it. Fast forward 4 years and I went back to him for a check up. He didn’t care at all and made several odd racial comments. And he has since ignored 3 of my calls to offer his professional opinion on my blood work. I am very disappointed and won’t be back.
My family has seen Dr. Margolin since 2008, with some breaks due to travel. Initially he was friendly, even funny, and his staff was professional and courteous. I would have rated him 5 stars for the first 5 years or so. However, I have noticed a sharp drop in service from the doctor in the last few years. He is incredibly rushed in his visits. On my first visit back to him after several years when asking for a referral for a psychiatric consultation, he spent a little more than 1 minute in the room with me after I waited about 20 minutes in the room (another 10 outside in the waiting area). He spent most of the time typing on his laptop, hardly looking at me. He did ask after my family briefly, which was nice. The next 2 times I've visited he has been equally as rushed and abrupt. On one occasion, he was arguing with a patient next to my room so loudly I could hear their conversation! While I do think the patient was being unfair from what I heard, I shouldn't have heard an argument at all - not professional. Overall I will standby his practice. I have not had a misdiagnosis and to my knowledge my whole family has received adequate and reliable service. We go to him because we know him. If he's going through a personal matter, that might explain this change. Hopefully he can find a way to bring joy to his work again.
I had a horrible experience with Dr. Margolin. I was running a fever for over a week. I went to urgent care but then the fever returned after several more days. I then saw Margolin and he sent me for chest xrays. It took him 5 days to get back to me with results after calling multiple times a day. Tech said there was fluid in my lungs, but when I got to my follow up appt. he refused to show me my xrays, wouldn't answer my questions about them and told me I had a touch of Bronchitis. You don't get fluid in your lungs with Bronchitis and it doesn't last over 3 weeks. And my original complaint was a long running fever and I had to remind him to take my temperature at the follow up. He let me suffer without meds for nearly a week with what I finally was able to determine what I had, Pneumonia.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
