Dr David was a very good doctor and took his time to answer all my questions and put my mind at ease also he down to earth easy to talk to also provide with with some valuable information A plus in my book

Great experience with Dr Hamming doing both knee replacements 2 months apart and the IBJI Gurnee rehab staff. 4 and 6 months post op I am doing daily activities without restrictions, outside of high impact activities, and don't even think about my knees.

Both my husband and I have received great care and guidance from Dr. David Hamming and the rest of the staff when we have had an issue that IBJI can address. We highly recommend them.

Dr. David Hamming is a great orthopedic physician at IBJI in Gurnee. He was very thorough in discussing my tests and diagnosis and set up a treatment plan for my knee pain. I highly recommend him if you're experiencing issues with your knees.

I don't know what l can say about one of my most favorite physicians in the entire history of my medical care. Dr. David Hamming and l have been in a Dr./ Patient relationship since 2017, when l discovered l had a torn Achilles Tendon. Before that, l was a patient of his brother's, Dr. Mark Hamming, for a short time regarding my ailing hip. Working with them via IBJI and Lakeforest Hospital, both Drs are brilliant, wonderful caring healers who go above and beyond to give their patients the very BEST care. However, Dr. David Hamming and my relationship continued right up until my recent hip surgery, which l was reluctant to do for various reasons, including Covid. Needless to say after trying alternative treatments, things got worse, and l decided to have the surgery. Dr. Hamming, being confident of a successful outcome, assured me that everything would be fine, and he was spot on. The surgery was performed at the Hawthorne Surgical Center in Vernon Hills, IL., on an outpatient basis. I could not have been more pleased with the highly personalized care l received from the minute l walked in, to the pre and post post procedures and post operative care, including follow-up therapy, etc. I could go on, but l'll sum it this way: Dr. Hamming and his brother are ROCK STARS in their fields; everyone who l spoke to over the years, who received medical care from them sure thought so...must run in the family 😉.

It was easy to check in. Quick to get my diagnosis. And then they took xrays and a quick shot and I was out of there. Been healing up nicely.

I would definitely reccomend Illinois Bone and Joint to everyone. I had fallen down the stairs and they got me in to see a doctor immediatly. Dr Hamming was wonderful and Diagnosed me including exrays within an hour. I had actually broken my shoulder. He told me what i needed to do and what the recovery treatment envolved. I have been here before for other issues and have always recieved the best treatment.

I found Dr Hamming to have the qualities that patients desire in their doctors. He is very cordial, upfront and honest while fully explaining procedures and treatments and allowing the patient to make fully informed decisions on their own. As a patient, I feel comfortable asking questions of him and and appreciate his time and patience in his explanations. I feel very confident having Dr. Hamming as my physician.
