List of Isaac Thomas's Reviews
He is the worst Dr I ever had.
Nothing but respect for Dr. Thomas. I had an apparent arrhythmia that caused me to pass out while at work in a hospital. My normal Cardiologist recommended this group. He came in at 9:30 pm to see me in the ER. He called the EP specialist at home from my bedside and arranged for him to see me next week.
My experience with Dr. Thomas was brief, but terrible enough to make me think he wrote that 5-star review himself. If you're not interested in details, just know that Dr. Thomas is unprofessional, a bully, and completely unhelpful. If you'd like to know more, read on. My 76-year-old father was experiencing bouts of weakness, dizziness, and nausea. The first thing that pops up when you google those symptoms in a man his age is "HEART ATTACK," and even if it wasn't, my father's had four heart attacks in his life, and all three of the milder ones started that way. We called my father's cardiologist, but it was the weekend, so we were referred to Dr. Thomas. My mother called Dr. Thomas and left a message detailing the problem and our concerns. Three-and-a-half hours later Dr. Thomas called back. He didn't offer any help at all or even ask any questions, he just opened the conversation by yelling at my mother for bothering him. He told her that she should have called a different specialist, and then, when my mother explained my father's history of heart attacks, he pivoted to telling her that he wasn't the on-call doctor for my father's cardiologist--well, okay, he was, but only for her hospital patients. He was rude, combative, and condescending throughout, and by the end of the call, it became clear that he had only called back to shame my mother for calling him at all. Maybe Dr. Thomas was having a bad day. Maybe the referral from my father's cardiologist was a mistake. That doesn't excuse the fact that he went out of his way to be rude to my elderly mother while she was worried her husband was having a heart attack or explain why it took him almost four hours to get back to her. We're going to file a complaint with Advocate, but I assume that'll lead to a note on his personnel file, at best. If you're shopping for a doctor, I'd look elsewhere. I'm positive you can do better.
I've been to see several cardiologists in the area. No other facilities or doctor's have come close to level of care I received from Dr Thomas or any member of his staff. He has the bedside manner of a family doctor, while maintaining the level of expertise of any surgeon. My visits have nothing short of fun!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
