List of Jeffrey J. Hicks's Reviews
Dr. Hicks performed bunion surgery on my right foot in 2011, and then a few years later, bunionectomy on my left foot, and both feet are in great shape as of 2022. There is no indication I'll need more surgery.
Very professional. Was understanding and empathic to my issue at hand and worked what was best to fix my issues. He is one of the good ones and would recommend anyone who needs to see a podiatrist to see this one.
Dr. Hicks took the time to sit down and explain to me what’s wrong with my foot, and with my medical background, I had a few questions regarding possible causes of my discomfort and he explained to me similarities and differences of potential diagnosis. I was able to truly understand diagnosis as well options for treatment. Thank you, Dr. Hicks👍
I love going to Dr. Hicks office because everyone is so friendly and helpful. And Dr. Hicks is so gentle with my feet and answers all my questions. Highly recommend him.
great
He will tell you I am just taking sample of your nails but He would not tell you going to get bill for $600 dollar. You going to get two bills one from his office one from Quest Diagnostics.... Be careful guys... Don't believe get your self a bill for $600 dollar
Dr. Hicks is very patient and kind. He answered my questions gently and made sure I understood what was going on. Even though he was very busy with patients when I came in, he made sure to spend enough time with me, and I did not feel like he rushed my appointment at all. I would definitely recommend him!
Altho today was my first visit, I must say the staff and doctor were all wonderful.
I have had Dr. Jeffrey Hicks for my podiatrist for about 6 years. He has treated me for diabetic ulcerations, neuropathy, broken toes, and diagnosed other problems which needed correction. He recently was called by my primary care physician to evaluate a serious infection in my foot and leg. It was late in the evening and despite tornado warnings, he hurried to the hospital. He knew at once that I required immediate surgery to save me from amputation of my foot and leg.The surgery was successful. He saved my foot and and I am grateful that I had him as my doctor. He is professionally and expertly outstanding, helpful, personable and always gives advice in a straightforward manner. He puts every patient at ease and is helpful and often funny. Patients love him and usually leave smiling. He's great!!
He shared limited information at my initial visit at which my diagnosis was provided (after an X-ray), however, after giving me a walking boot he communicated only general details for my lifestyle and home care. After my third visit, I "initiated" probing questions about my recovery. He abrasively responded as to give a verbal thrashing to a child, not a patient. After continued questions, he "finally" shared the risks and potential future complications. Displays a condescending attitude. Later I went to a reputable doctor and was informed that the diagnosis that Mr Hicks gave me was an over-treatment (walking boot cast). As a result, I am required to have physical therapy to build the muscles that were weakened by the walking boot. In my opinion, Mr. Hick's sole concern is monetary gain, not patient well-being or satisfaction. Note: the one star rating was only because it is required to submit the post, if not, I would not have given him a one star rating.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
