List of Luis I. Salazar's Reviews
Excellent! Dr. Salazar and all of his staff members are always prompt, courteous, professional, competent and friendly. I always look forward to my regular visits for check ups and the occasional visit for a medical issue.
I requested my annual checkup bloodwork and the bill was over $800. I asked for a detailed bill and I am not a new patient, and they upcoded me with 2 different higher E&M codes. Trying to solve this. I requested that they code my bill correctly. And, that I was only paying for the services that I requested. They want to move my bill to collections so that I have to pay 40% more even though I am disputing the bill. Let's see if we solve our differences. I do not want to submit a complaint to the Department of Insurance for upcoding.
This place is a total rip off. Ridiculously over priced, they want to run all kinds of exams on you even if you don't need it. All so they can charge it against your health insurance. Ofcourse you are held liable for expenses your insurance doesn't cover. I made a big mistake by choosing them as my family's primary health provider.
Dr Salazar, has been my Primary Care Physician for. He easy to talked to and he give you a chance to ask question and express any concern you have.
part 2 Also his business manager (Carlos), what a joke. He is like in his mid 20s and think he can talk to patients like he has been in the medical field for so long, he is EXTREMELY INCOMPETENT which is understandable due to his age. He hung up on me on mid sentence of asking a question due to his lack of knowledge in the field (which I don't understand how they have someone in that position with no experience but now that I think of it, it because its cheaper to hire someone young and unknowledgeable rather than someone with that background/experience). I feel sorry for the Hispanic community that don't really know what's going on here, if you are looking for your parents or family members a new PCP DO NOT COME HERE. Look at all the reviews that this place has, the negative outweighs the positive ones. There are many other Hispanic providers that can care for your relatives. Again, please save you money, time, energy and most importantly your health. This place is NOT good.
As everyone can read all the reviews, Luis Salazar has MANY bad reviews. I have seen Caitlyn for many years and she is the best! If she had her own practice I would join. Luis Salazar is NOT caring or compassionate ( I think he has been in the field for too long and now is just working to "work"). Luis d/c me due to an incident that occurred in HIS practice and blames me. His workers did something ...
They over charge you for the services they provide, unknown fees. I will never return or recommend this place to anyone.
Superb Family Practice!! Truly love Dr. Salazar's beside manner he stays to answer all of your questions and doesn't make you feel foolish. This is especially handy when you have multiple children seeing Provida Family Medicine's team
Dr Salazar and the entire staff are very professional , caring and considerate. Openly addressed any and all questions or concerns directly. From the moment you walk in the office until the time you leave you can feel the warmth and compassion of the entire staff. It is obvious that they all truly care about their job and the patients. I highly recommend this practice, you truly get exceptional health care here.
HORRIBLE- STAY AWAY!!! Want to only see a physician assistant but be charged like your seing a Dr? Come here! Wait a hour past appointment time? COME HERE! Want to be ripped off & charged extra for anything they can find to bill in addition to the actual visit? Come here! Want Daisy or Bianca in billing to talk to you like they're on Jerry Springer? Then come here! If not- stay away! Honestly not sure how they haven't been shut down! Incompetant, uneducated staff!! Rude and nickel and dime you!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
