I have had a hip replacement and a knee replacement with Dr Mark Hamming and I wouldn’t go to anyone else!!!!

Dr Mark Hamming and Dr David Hamming were my surgeons back in the day. When I was 27 yo, I had 3 breaks in my ankle They repaired it with a temporary 5 screw plate on exterior side and installed a pin and a screw on the interior side. Casted for about 8 weeks. 9 months later the hardware was removed. It was better than new. I am now 60 yo and I still have absolutely no pain or issues with my ankle. Thank you for your exquisite care and skill.

Greeted right away, friendly staff, short wait. Technician friendly and thorough. Short wait to see the PA and then the doctor. XRay technician friendly and patient. Doctor thorough in exam, explained treatment options and provided literature I could read to help me decide on what treatments I wanted.

My pain and worries were addressed completely, I was not rushed into a surgery when there was a less drastic option to try. I was able to bring up last minute questions about other areas of pain which were also immediately addressed to my satisfaction. Dr. Hamming is very pleasant and quite impressive. I would feel comfortable putting myself in his hands if I need surgery for further care.

This is the best place to get orthopedic help both of my ortho Dr's are here Dr Parikh and Dr Mark Hamming!!! The physical therapy department rocks as well! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 👍👍👍👍👍

I rather not rate this Doctor !I had a horrible experience with this office ;my daughter Ziemyiah was scheduled for surgery after a slip and fall back in February . For starters I was given the run-around for an MRI for over three-weeks to a month because Dr. Hamming office in Gurnee never properly scheduled the appointment over at Vista east hospital .so we kept being told to come back after being sent there. although my daughter has insurance the hospital nor dr.hamming office offered churches, instead I was sent on a man hunt by the office to find them ; which I ended up paying for out of pocket.after being sent on yet another while goose chase . I then arrived at lake forest medical center for surgery as directed to be told because my daughter was just getting over COVID the surgery would be delayed for another two weeks. I've been calling the offices since to reschedule and haven't gotten a response back. I also requested for a second opinion yet I can't get through to the office so I've just been waiting to hear something back. I've dealt with this office before but never this unperfessional and dysfunctional,I'm confused and dissatisfied with the care provided towards my daughter's medical needs. Ps not to mention the disgruntled and awark dispositions of a few staff.
