As I had an undescended testicle as a child, my vasectomy had to be performed in the OR to ensure the correct tubes were cut. The doctor cut corners and did not use the proper instruments (doppler etc) to identify the vas deferens on that side. When I awoke from surgery he said he simply didn't know if he cut the correct tube or not. Distressing to say the least. Removing my undescended testicle was suggested more than once. Thank god I didn't do that. He also took too small of a section from the other side and after an exam by my new urologist he discovered it grew back together as a result. After one year of semenalysis I was still fertile and no solution was offered. He shrugged "I don't know what to tell ya." I just had the vasectomy redone at Northwestern Hospital. My surgeon was shocked at my last experience and the second procedure was night and day better. Far far less swelling.

Horrible. Dr. came in slouched down in the chair. I explained to him why I was there. Looking for an examination. Had a problem with ED. He said so let me get this straight, that’s all you’re here for. I said well I want to make sure everything‘s OK and take care of that too. He got up left the room. Came back with five tablets of Cialis. Then walked out of the room. Thinking we were done put on my coat and started to leave. Nurse came in to take blood. Then she left the room. Sat there for five minutes decided to see if my appointment was over. Walked out of the room and found out that I was done and that I needed to schedule another appointment. A week later I got a call about my blood work. I called back, Had to leave a message. No one returned my call. Four weeks later I got another call back requesting verification of my appointment. I said no thanks.

I FIRMLY believe I would not be here today without Dr. Alsikafi! After spending over a week in Mayo Clinic Dr. Alsikafi took care of me immediately! This doctor treated me like family. I could never thank Dr. Alsikafi enough for his drive to solve a problem and having the expertise to complete what others wouldn't!

Him as a Dr is OK. He is surrounded by a bunch of incompetent individuals. In my opinion, the Dr. is responsible for the quality of his staff, as he is the one responsible on selecting them.

Charming....incompetent scammer. Ordered completely unnecessary prostate biopsy WITHOUT even examining me. I shudder to think how many scared, gullible men have had needless procedures done by this man.
