List of Steven D. Reinglass's Reviews
My husband & I have been patients of Dr Reinglass for at least 10 years and we are very happy 😊
Went in for an eye exam for the purpose to see if I could get lasik surgery. I was told the refractive test is an extra $55. Then when I get done they want $274 up front for the “new patient exam” and that I would be reimbursed “only” if insurance covers it. You mean to tell me you charge your patients full price for services and THEN submit to insurance...so shady. I was not told any of this before hand, this was totally ridiculous and would have never went if I had known.
My eyes are REALLY bad! Dr. Serpico took extra time and care getting me the absolute perfect prescription. They are ordering two frames for me to look at and then I'll order my glasses! It was a fantastic visit and I will no longer be going to the 'chain' stores for my exams or eyewear! Thank you!
I would not recommend this office to anyone. I had glasses made at this office with a prescription from a specialist. The woman in the office part of ordering glasses made my new ones using a prescription from 3 years ago. Took them back and was told to wear them and get use to them. The frame has fallen apart 10 times since May. Took them back after 4 visits and told them I wanted my money back. Well Dr said no we will use your one time remake to redo them. So if I have a problem I will be out.
I have been going to Dr. Crawford for 19 years. First when the location was in Waukegan and now for some time in the Vernon Hills location. I have had no issues with the service there ever. He is quite knowledge about the way the market is changing with manufacturing contacts and since I am an engineer I always enjoy debating between brands and the right contacts for me. I have read some of the reviews and people are right about one thing this place gets busy to the point it is just insane. I was there two weeks ago to pick up contacts right before they closed and there was still a dozen people in there waiting.
Incredibly friendly and professional practice - really can't recommend Dr. Serpico enough.
My family has been going to this practice for over 30 years. They were exommended to us and I’ve also passed their information on to others. Wonderful treatment and professionalism, including an unusual muscle related problem with our son’s eye. If not for them he could have gone through life never knowing. A series of specialized eye exercises cured what had been holding him back for then 16 years of his life.
I have never had a more frustrating experience with any type of doctor. This is my third time seeing him in 2 weeks and he is currently an hour behind schedule, similar to the first appointment I had with him. I will never return ever again and do my best to make family and friends aware of how poorly his practice is ran.
Charged $800 for a pair of glasses only to give a fake. After I later went to get frame replaced, they said the glasses were not made by them. Terrible.
I have been going to Dr. Steve Reinglass my whole life. He is an excellent eye doctor and even better guy

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
