I’ve gone to Dr. Bijari for about 15 years now and she is exceptional. She cares so much about her patients and is always well versed on new treatments coming out. I have recommended her to many of my friends and family when they needed a neurologist and everyone felt equally well taken care of. She always responds to her own mychart messages and I can’t say enough how important that is to have someone who communicates back with you quickly. Especially when you’ve got a terrible migraine and you’re in trouble. In my opinion she’s the best of the best!
Dr Bijari and her staff are very professional. Dr Bajari takes her time and listens to the patient. Then she discusses treatments to help your symptoms.
Dr. Bijari is cold and lacks empathy in conveying a serious diagnosis to patient and family. Two visits and we were done with her - she left us traumatized. After our bad experience, my husband wouldn’t agree to see another neurologist for his condition for 3 months. He is now going to Rush - where they have a great team who cares for patient and caregivers.
The thing I liked about Dr. Bijari is that she comes right out and bring her patients into her office. She does not act better than you or smarter. She is very down to earth and honest. She tells you straight out what she thinks and if she can or cannot help you.
I made an appointment for my husband who suffered from lewy body dementia. I tried to get him in sooner then his scheduled appointment due to an episode he had. They told me no appointments were available, I would have to wait till his scheduled appointment. Only to be called the next day that the Dr Bihar was refusing him as a patient. I made this appointment a month ago. I know this disease has no cure but you never gave him a chance. He was 55 years old a loving husband, dad, grandpa, son, brother, uncle and friend. His name was Carl the patient you failed. August 1963- August 6th 2019
A very caring, compassionate woman who will work with you to help you.i would highly recommend her as the best of the best. She truly is an angel !’
Dr. Bijari is one of the most unprofessional neurologists I have ever dealt with. She is pompous and has horrendous bedside manner. She completely disregards other doctor's opinions and is very condescending towards patient's family members. Save yourself time and heartache and stay away from this woman.
This is an excellent doctor who will listen to you and is responsive...However she is heavily into giving medications instead of looking for underlying cause. She missed an old cervical injury 4-5 on me that was causing severe my debilitating migraines. I will not be returning anytime soon.
Words can’t express how glad I am that I found Dr Bijari. I have epilepsy and was going 2 other doctors prior to her. No one referred her but I wasn’t satisfied with only having 1-2 seizures a year. I know some people would love for that to be their case but I felt there had to be something better. I was a new mother and a single parent and I was having seizures in front of my child and didn’t feel he should have to worry about me blacking out behind the wheel of a car. I went to Dr Bijari and after running tests she gave me a couple of options of medicines I could take and before prescribing, she explained the side effects. We tried the first combination and I had been seizure free for almost 10 years. We tried to see if I would continue to be seizure free if she eliminated one of the medicines but it didn’t work so we left it the same. It has been about 8 years since my last seizure. We have both decided “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it”. One of my best friends has epilepsy and the only reason he doesn’t see her is because he lives to far away.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
