List of Craig Wlodarek's Reviews
Took my father-in-law to see Dr. Wlodarek due to concerning Alzheimer's/dementia symptoms. Dr. Wlodarek demonstrated remarkable patience and thoroughness in addressing all our questions and concerns, ensuring we felt comfortable and well-informed about the necessary treatment. We're thankful we didn't listen to the negative reviews we came across on here.
Texted during appointment. Seemed uninterested. Told me test results were normal. Found out years later they weren’t. Will never return.
I Have been a patient of Dr Wlodarek for over 10 years and he has done wonders for my migraines. I know I have seen other neurologist in the past and no one has helped me like Dr Wlodarek. He listens to everything I have to say and he stays up to date on all the new medications and wants to help however he can.
Went to see Dr. Wlodarek for a second opinion after I was told I had two brain aneurysms. The first Dr I saw wanted to do surgery on my brain right away and coil them. To me that was a scary option and I definitely needed a second opinion. Thank goodness I found Dr. Wlodarek. After him looking at my scans and his consultation, he said definitely not. If I was to get surgery with my aneurysms being as small as they were, it would be highly dangerous and possibly kill me. I was told to just get them looked at once a year and monitor. I’m so thankful for him, as they have not grown. I’d highly recommend him. He is pretty straight forward, which I prefer.
We're grateful to Dr Wlodarek for his care and treatment.
Told me results were normal when they weren’t. Started texting someone during appointment and when I asked him to stop he said it wouldn’t be long and kept texting. Barely looked at me. Notes were filled with mistakes.
Terrible doctor, gave no explanation or any sort of idea of what he thinks caused me to have 3 seizures. He questioned me about what happened during the episodes as if I would know what happened during these grand mal seizures. After this, he said “you don’t know they were seizures” even though I was hospitalized in the neurology unit at Silver Cross after the second episode, and had a third seizure while still in the hospital that was witnessed by 3 nurses and a doctor. He said “I think you’re fine, maybe some hyperactivity in the brain”, refilled a year supply of Keppra, and said I don’t need to be seen until next year. Absolutely ridiculous, I’m only 27 and I randomly have 3 seizures within 2 months and I’m supposed to brush it off? Don’t waste your time, you won’t get any answers. I highly recommend you see a doctor who actually cares about their patients, this man is a joke.
He was in and out in 5 minutes. No explanation, no help.
Very thorough, attentive listened to my concerns
I accompanied my girlfriend to her visit with Dr. Wlodarek. He came off as arrogant and very dismissive towards her and seemed a little bothered that I was there. When she made a comment that she couldn’t really breathe because of what she’s been struggling with he said, “Well obviously you can breathe or else you’d, you know, be dead.” Which was an unnecessary, unprofessional, and snarky comment, especially for someone whose job is centered around helping others. I understand that patients can be difficult and frustrating but this was only two minutes into our appointment. Then, as we were leaving my girlfriend began to cry out of frustration as she felt she had been neither heard nor cared for. In response, he got defensive, displaying a lack of empathy and consideration. He did prescribe a medication that aligned with symptoms that my girlfriend described, which was nice, but then he also prescribed a medication for a condition that had already been confirmed by other doctors as one she doesn’t suffer from. I may have been harsh in my judgment of his character but based off the other reviews left here, it seems that is not the case. Dr. Wlodarek would be better suited to a job that does not involve interacting with others.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
