List of Fertility Centers Of Illinois-Hinsdale's Reviews
Ultrasound tech, Alisa, was so genuine and caring. Had other techs there before, some not the same experience, but Alisa stood out above the others just made me feel comfortable immediately. The ladies behind the front desk are always do kind and welcoming as well.
I am so incredibly grateful that I chose Fertility Centers of Illinois and Dr. Uhler to guide me through my IVF journey. From the very beginning, Dr. Uhler was thorough, knowledgeable, and always made me feel comfortable during what can be such an emotionally and mentally difficult process. She truly took the time to make me feel supported every step of the way. The care team at the Hinsdale office was also amazing. The ultrasound techs and phlebotomists were always so kind, supportive, and genuinely a joy to see during the strenuous weekly monitoring appointments. Even the front desk staff was always helpful and welcoming. Most importantly, Dr. Uhler and her team made my transfer day feel so special. My husband and I left feeling incredibly happy. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I am now 30 weeks pregnant with our baby boy, and I have Dr. Uhler and her team to thank for helping make this dream come true. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Uhler to anyone struggling with infertility. She is truly the best.
Fertility Centers of Illinois in Hinsdale provided exceptional care to our family. Everyone we interacted with was caring, thoughtful, supportive, and extremely knowledgeable about their specific area of expertise. I would recommend them to anyone seeking fertility treatment.
We have Dr. Uhler, Nurse Selena, and FCI to thank for our miracle baby! There was only one fertility clinic in our state covered by insurance and after an unsuccessful IVF cycle, they pushed us towards using a donor egg and refused to change their medication protocol. Dr. Uhler actually listened and didn’t focus on our poor odds of success. After a cycle had to be cancelled due to poor response she simply said, “that didn’t work; let’s try something else.” She really understands the science and the art that is fertility treatment and our second round of IVF resulted in our absolutely perfect baby boy! FCI coordinated our monitoring and labs with an OBGyn office 200 miles from Chicago so we only had to travel for the egg retrieval and embryo transfer. I would recommend giving FCI a try even if you’re not in the Chicago area if you’re looking for a second opinion. I’m so glad that we did!
Rude receptionist hung up on me and needed important information never going there again do not recommend this place
I had an extremely disappointing and unacceptable experience at the Hinsdale location. I drove 30 minutes to my appointment, arrived early, and was turned away immediately because I had my child with me. My appointment was canceled on the spot. No one had ever informed me that children are not allowed in the office. This was never mentioned when scheduling, during confirmation, or in any reminder beforehand. This is not a minor detail. This is critical information that directly impacts whether a patient can even attend their appointment. The complete lack of communication is inexcusable. What made the situation even worse is that the office was completely empty, yet no effort was made to offer any kind of solution or accommodation. Instead, I was simply told I needed a new order to reschedule, wasting my time and setting back an already time-sensitive process. Fertility treatments are not casual appointments. They involve strict timelines, coordination, and emotional investment. The lack of empathy, flexibility, and basic communication shown here is extremely concerning. Situations like this reflect very poorly on the level of care and professionalism patients can expect. This entire situation could have been easily avoided with proper communication. Patients deserve better.
I had a consultation there and watched the nursing and front desk staff treat another patient TERRIBLY for simply not clicking the link you get an hour beforehand to check in. The doctor was fine...but then waved me off when I tried to tell her what was going on out front. When my husband and I say in a room to wait for further consultation, another patient health information was sitting out on the table. Huge hippa violation.
I would give zero stars if I could. After a year of needlessly stressful treatments, I finally moved on to another clinic. With the help of my new doctor I came to realize that I was being gaslit into believing I was experiencing early menopause and my only option was donor eggs. Just today, a full year after finding out one of my embryos was genetically abnormal and not viable, I found out that I was being billed for the cryostorage of that embryo because FCI never sent me a document I needed to sign for its disposal. Just when I thought they couldn’t traumatize me anymore! If you’re looking for fertility treatments, I urge you to get second and third opinions. FCI clinic policies are designed to make their statistics look good, not to give you the care you need.
I had three embryo transfers with Fertility Centers of Illinois in Hinsdale starting July 1, 2024. It’s been a long journey—my first transfer (a medicated cycle) failed, the second resulted in an ectopic pregnancy, and the third has blessed me with twins. After about a year and eight months with FCI, I’m now transitioning to my OB-GYN care for my twin pregnancy. I want to highlight Dr. Uhler, who has been incredibly caring and skilled. She consistently followed up with me after important milestones and genuinely showed compassion throughout the process. Her attentiveness made a significant difference in my experience. I was initially with Dr. Sipe for my first transfer, and my experience was quite different. Communication was more difficult, and I found him harder to reach. I also felt strongly encouraged toward a medicated cycle, even though a natural cycle was an option and would have been more manageable for me personally. The front office staff, including Karan and Seyeda, have been kind and supportive. I recommend calling early for appointments, as they manage a high volume of patients—many of whom are going through emotionally challenging experiences. Their responsiveness improves when you’re proactive. Erica, who performed my ultrasounds, was gentle, patient, and always willing to answer my questions, which I really appreciated. Overall, my experience improved significantly after switching doctors. I believe FCI provides strong medical expertise and continues to improve its customer service. That said, your experience may vary depending on the doctor and care team you are assigned to.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
