Leslie Spencer's Online Review Report Card

She has been my doctor for 24 years and is one of the best. I have also had the privilege of working with her in the OR when I was a surgical nurse. I always say if you want to know if a doctor is good, ask a nurse that has worked with them. She gets my seal of approval as both a nurse and patient.

Dr. Spencer is incredible and her staff is as well.

I have been to quite a few OBGYN's and none have come close to the care, support, and pleasantness I have experienced with Dr. Spencer! Each visit or encounter I have had with her she has always been so kind and enjoyable. She listens to all my concerns and questions and has never made me feel like anything I have said was disregarded. I cannot say enough positive things about her!

Dr Spencer is amazing! I have been seeing her for years. Of course when I got pregnant I had to keep seeing her even though we moved over an hour away. She is very knowledgeable and kind. I would do it all over again just to see her with any future pregnancies! She’s the best! She made me feel very confident and as calm as can be when my daughter was born.

Dr. Leslie A Spencer is the best Obstetrician-gynecologist by far! I decided to switch doctors mid pregnancy and I couldn't be happier. She's incredibly knowledgable, intuitive, kind and goes above and beyond. She made me feed confident during my pregnancy, detected that I was dilated and was going to deliver a little earlier than anticipated. She sent me to the hospital for observation right after my visit with her and my daughter was born 2 days later. I trust her full heartedly and can't imagine having any other doctor, for both peace of mind and body. I highly recommend her! And hope she's around for hopefully our next baby.

While Dr Spencer is extremely kind and is very good at calming a patient down and making them feel comfortable about everything going on she misses 1 extremely valuable asset. She only listens to an extent. Now I chose her based on prior reviews with women suffering from endometriosis and other diseases suffering in pain. It sounded as though she was able to listen to her patients and find current diagnosis when other doctors could not. However, this is not the case for me. I explained in my first meeting that there is a history of endometriosis on my family as well as I was told when I was 15 that I almost positively had it. Up until now I have not been prepared to have the procedure to tell me if I do or not but now I am, as I am suffering unbearable debilitating pain. Dr. Spencer refuses to test me for this because I am young and she doesn’t feel it is important. She did do other procedures to try and find a problem. They found a cyst that eventually took care of itself and many other growths but yet her response is, all of your tests are normal. Her final conclusion was lets put you on birth control which I was on for over 10 years and it does not help a single bit. After thorough discussion with my family I have come to realize I am being ignored and I now find myself once again in need of finding another gyro that will hopefully listen to me.

Kind, efficient, and knowledgeable!

I’m so glad that I found Dr. Spencer. Having had several problems ranging from fibroids to anemia and severely heavy periods, she reassured me every step of the way. She thoroughly explained all of my options with great compassion. I really and truly feel like she gave me my life back.

Amazing Doctor! Dr. Spencer took the time to hear all my concerns, questions and history before explaining everything in full. She was informative and detailed oriented on the next steps in my care. So thankful I now have her as my Doctor!!

Scheduling has become very difficult. If Dr Spencer’s schedule is full (often), you have to keep calling back to see when it will open up for the next month. This day varies and staff can’t give you a certain day to call back. I have had to call up to 4 times to get an appointment and I am an established patient (20+ years). Also, doctor has now twice started political conversations during exams, this is not appropriate. Otherwise she is a good doctor.
