When I last went to Dr. Franco, my pediatrician since infancy, she blamed me for my eating disorder. The time before she endlessly praised me for losing weight, even though my mother specifically said she was worried I wasn’t eating enough. I will not blame her for my diagnosed mental illness, but I will confidently say that she was a HUGE catalyst in the progression of my Anorexia Nervosa, which ended up in multiple hospitalizations and a long recovery. I am lucky to be rid of her and now go to a different medical practice completely. Dr. Lisa Franco does not know how to handle mental health, and this could be considered before bringing a child into her office.

I was really frustrated with how little she knew about autism or autism spectrum. She was shocked to hear about my child’s health issues and made a comment about never hearing such a diagnosis existed! It made me feel horrible because I know it’s a rare condition but she made me feel really weird about it. I wouldn’t recommend unless you have a normal child with no issues.

Every single time I take my child to Dr Franco, the wait is at least 1 hour. They allege to always get backed up only 1 hour before my appt but never call me to tell me they are running late. I think it is outrageous that a patient has to wait over an hour every time they walk into this office. Stop triple booking patients.
