List of Matthew Harris, Md's Reviews
Dr Harris took the time to listen to me. He is conscientious and thorough in his work. He doesn't push certain procedures and he takes a conservative approach. I appreciated that. He is personable and has availability for appointments, unlike many doctors.
I have to get skin checks once a year so I’m very familiar with what happens. Dr. Harris was in my room for no more then three minutes. Most of that time was prescribing me retinol. He checked two spots that were concerning to me and nowhere else and then billed me. Won’t be back. If this helps one person-find another Derm.
I give them a zero star review. I've seen Dr Harris a number of times over the years. I scheduled an appointment, arrived on the scheduled day and was told they have no appointment for me. The receptionist said it's a call center issue and the soonest they can get me in now is 6 weeks out?! Just terrible. I'll find a practice that cares.
I went in the office for a cosmetic procedure and spent a lot of money. While I was there I asked Dr. Harris to look at a mole. He ended up sending me a bill for an office visit. I couldn't believe it! I have been going to him for years and spending quite a bit of money not anymore. I hope he's happy with the extra money to lose a patient.
Dr Harris is very professional, works quickly but efficiently. Highly recommend
Dr Harris was outstanding. My husband had an emergency. We called the office in the morning and were given an appointment the same afternoon. Kind, understanding and knowledgeable!
Dr. Harris is a great doctor but his office does not follow up with prior authorizations for medications that his patients need. They rate a zero in that department. So the value of the doctor is zero when his office does not follow up. That is so frustrating and time consuming for the patient to have to keep begging for medication and yet being ignored.
This rating is because reaching this office by phone is a nightmare. Long waits of 20+ minutes or more IF they answer and with limited options for patient needs. The online patient portal provides limited information and is not patient -centered, user friendly or updated.
I'm a Dentist of 33 years and understand patient care.I have been a patient of Dr. Harris since shortly after he began practice. I think he's great. He answers my questions with a level of detail, that reveals his great knowledge. The minor surgical procedures I had, he has performed with deft skill. I cant think of anything he could have done better.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
