Stephanie Gan's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Gan is absolutely wonderful. I've had my fair share of skin conditions and she has been incredibly patient with me in seeking out answers. I tend to ask a lot of questions- she is very patient in easing any concerns I have by offering thorough explanations. She is very responsive in mychart, which just shows how dedicated she is to her patients. Her bed side manner is kind and validating, while also being determined to help.

Dr. Gan is an excellent provider. She customizes her treatment to the individual. Her communication is clear. She listens. I have had several visits and even though she practices at a location no longer close to me, I'm willing to make the drive for her expert and individualized care.

I had the same issues that others talked about. You are not a person to Dr. Gan at all. I also was left standing naked in front of three people the whole appointment. Most embarassing was when she asked me to turn around and bend over to look at my bum! My bum has never been exposed to sun and I told her that, but she didn't care. This is the first time I have ever felt like she could care less about what I was feeling despite the tears in my eyes. I have had other skin cancer checks and none of the other doctors I have seen made me feel so horrible. I will never use this doctor again and advise others to switch too. Believe me, the experience while a little embarassing, doesn't have to be so horrible.

Dr. Gan is great …. she provides treatment in an efficient and thorough manner and she is very pleasant

Very efficient and Professional.

I have been seeing Dr. Gan since she joined the DuPage Medical Group. She always has the utmost professionalism in appointments. She will sit and listen to me ask many questions and always provides insightful answers. I have had a few basal cell skin cancers removed surgically and have always been satisfied with the outcomes. I have recommended her to all my friends who are looking for a dermatologist. That's about the highest grade you can give a doctor. That is my experience which seems to be opposite some other people.

Dr. Gan is knowledgeable, considerate, professional and pleasant. She works very efficiently and quickly but takes the time to provide detailed explanations concerning the conditions being treated. I will continue to depend on her for any dermatological treatments that I need to have.

My skin was in pretty rough shape . Dr. Gan quickly identified my ailment and a treatment plan. A week later I'm 100% better. Took the time to discuss future treatment and home care. Also, I was 15 minutes late for a follow up visit due to the weather. They were still able to fit me in. Highly recommend.

Well if you like to waste 1 1/2 to 2 hours waiting for Dr. Gan and get test results from a nurse in lieu of the licensed doctor then make your appointment with Dr. Gan. My experience was certainly far from personal and she was extremely vague with her explanations and treatment options.

I had a visit with Dr Stephanie Gan in 2018 and again in 2020. Both times she rushed the appointment. Second appointment was only 8 minutes. Both times she failed to send in prescription to my pharmacy. I waited a week for my prescription and had to call to remind her.
