Joke of a doctor. I had read a review of him prior to our appointment that he gives away autism diagnosis very freely. It was amazing when I went to see him with my kid and within 5 min he provided an ASD diagnosis so he could bill us for additional testing. What was the basis of this diagnosis? Now we have to carry forward this diagnosis on the medical records as all other physicians build up on it and we do not have the ability to remove it.

Dr Abdul Salem is not considerate in his schedule and his staff is very rude

He is very unaccommodating and rude doctor. I took my son to him and was running five minutes late due to the weather he cancelled my appointment and on previous occasions he has made me wait for long.

Dr Abdelsalam has taken care of my daughter and son both for concussions. My daughter's was from an elbow to the back of the head in soccer & was severe and Dr Abdelsalam was very caring and cautious with her. She recovered beautifully. He also oversaw my son who was in a car accident. I would highly recommend him.

Ive been taking my young son to the hinsdale location. Him and his staff are great. They are kind and considerate and my son loves Dr. Abdelsalam. He listens to my son and takes his time with him and he make sure him feel important, but he also is goofy with him so my son wasn’t nervous at all. He’s been thorough and my son’s migraines are getting much much better. Even though it is terribly difficult to get an appointment with him since he’s very booked he makes it known that, as his patient, to please feel free to call with questions or concerns at any time.

Dr. AbdelSalam greatly helped my daughter get relief from some serious migranes. We feel we are now on the path to a cure. He seems more thorough and caring in his approach than other Doctors we have seen. Would highly recommend.

My husband brought our son to him with a idea in his head what was wrong with our son. The doctor preformed several tests including sedating a year old. The tests were ruled out my the pediatrician that he did not have what my husband thought. The doctor though kept him with the diagnosis that my husband thought he had. During this whole thing no one ever contacted me with any concerns including the doctor or taking history of my other children.

I would not recommend him as my husband took him there with what he thought was wrong. He ran several test which included sedating him. The tests were ruled out by the pediatrician and the doctor is still using the diagnosis that my husband came up with to see him. He never once contacted me to get any history of my other childrens delays.
