MIldred Mg Olivier's Online Review Report Card

I gave her practice 1 star because I could not give zero. I have never been to a more poorly run business, let alone a medical practice, in my life. There were 6 people there for the same 1 pm appointment which led to long wait times. After a brief time with the dr we had to wait again to be tested and have my moms eyes dialated. We were supposed to be back in for the exam in a few minutes but an hour and a half later still nothing until I made an issue of it. We then were taken in to have a test that had nothing to do with the issue we were there for. We were again told we would have to wait. Finally we saw the dr for a brief exam but not actually checking her eyes. 4 and 1/2 hours and we finally left and will never be back. Go to ANYONE else but her!

I was referred to Dr. Olivier for a diagnosis and subsequent treatment by my optometrist. He stated that she was the very best. Now that my treatment is complete, I agree. Dr. Olivier is outstanding. She and her office staff were professional, courteous, and caring. My treatment went extremely well, and I did not have to wait for Dr. Olivier to see me and accomplish the procedure. Thanks Dr. Olivier.

Save yourself the frustration and trouble, do not see this doctor unless you literally do NOT have any other options. Her bedside manner is thinly veiled, comes off as very pompous and egotistical. Treats her staff like dumb dogs. Didn't answer any of my questions, didn't explain what was going on with my eyes. I can forgive all of that as "she's just a bad doctor, whatever" but this lady literally got up and started leaving the room when I was asking a question about my medication and interrupted me mid-question to start telling me when my next appointment was as she was walking out the door. I didn't hear where I needed to go or if we were even done. Even worse, I'm in a wheelchair and needed help getting back into it, she didn't let anyone know so I had to wait over half an hour when she was trying to bring another patient in. I don't think I've ever had such a terrible doctor, let alone one that disrespects her patients and her staff like she does. Awful.

Definitely a terrible doctor and her staff is awful too. With covid going on, no one gets temperature taken. Doctor and staff don't wash their hands at all or even use hand sanitizer. They told us my mother needed surgery for her glaucoma . Nurse told use surgery was at northwestern community hospital. When surgical center called we found out surgery was in Hoffman estates. Surgical center told us to be there at 10 surgery is at 11. Nurse for doctor called later telling us to be there at 11. When we questioned time she said oh ok . When surgery was done we were told they were doing one type of surgery then after surgery we found out they did a totally different surgery. Now my mom is left with no site in her Surgical eye. Will never go here again!

Fabulous doctor! Long wait but similar to every other facility.

Dr did not introduce herself as my mom was a first time patient. I had to ask if she was the doctor. Did not wash her hands before exam. Appearance was unprofessional.

My mother is a senior citizen and has been seeing Dr. Olivier for a number of years. She has an extremely severe case of glaucoma which has resulted in vision loss. In understanding the severity of this disease, I know that Dr. Olivier is consistent in her approach when treating my mother. She is dedicated to her in a way that supersedes that of merely a doctor and a patient. Dr. Olivier sees my mother as a human being. That is extremely important in caring for people with glaucoma. No situation is the same; it is not formulaic. It is extremely important to been seen as a person and not just another insurance claim. She has gone above and beyond leaving me and my mom very grateful. I highly recommend her.

Not a great facility.

bottom line is shes an amazing dr. yes the office is chaos, but you know you are in great hands and that is way more important than being uncomfortable for an hour or two. Also she performed more than one surgery on me when I had no insurance and worked with me on my bill. The hospital forgave 90% of what I owed which was almost $9,000. shes awesome.

Been seeing Dr. Olivier for many years. I believe she is overbooked, as my last pressure check turned into a 2-1/2 appointment. I like her as a Dr, but lately she's been cancelling appointments, not calling back to reschedule as promised. A tech finally called back after I requested a copy of my records. I have switched doctors.
