I am so very lucky to have Dr Patel-Cooke as my gastroenterologist! She is an excellent doctor! She went above and beyond what would be considered "normal" medical attention to treat my condition. She tested, diagnosed and treated me accurately and expediently, alleviating my extreme pain, and putting me on the road to recovery. Her follow up was awesome, checking up on me often, making sure everything was progressing well. Dr. Patel-Cooke is a great doctor, 100% kind and compassionate. I always felt very safe and confident in the care she was providing to me. She always takes her time when I have an office visit, answering all my questions in terms I can understand. Additionally, Dr. Patel-Cooke went toe to toe with my new Insurance company when they refused to authorize a prescription I was on for years .She filled out more than 4 forms and did a peer to peer consult with the doctor at the insurance company until they finally approved my medication. What other doctor would take all that time and go through that much trouble for their patient? Dr. Patel Cooke is a warrior and patient advocate! I am healthy today because of her! I just can't adequately express how grateful I am that I found her and how happy I am that she is my doctor. I very highly recommend her to anyone!

Excellent. Personable, communicated well in laymens terms, and figured out my problem for me. The rest of the staff also did an excellent job as well.

Never heard back from the Doctor with results even though pain persisted and she said during the meeting she would follow up the next day. Had to call in to her office four different times over the course of 3 days to finally speak to a nurse who relayed the information and was never contacted by Dr. Patel directly. Getting information from this office is like pulling teeth and the last thing you want to be doing when you are not feeling well. I recommend going elsewhere if you are looking for a Doctor and staff that show they genuinely care about your well being and not just churning through patients.
