If he says that openly on social media, imagine how he treats his clients behind closed doors. I wouldn’t step foot near this place.

While speaking to the intake person at this treatment facility, I was asked if I was "pre-op or post-op" when I told them it didn't matter because my roommate wouldn't be looking at my genitals, I was told "Well, I don't know that." This is not okay. At all. Given the immense disparity transgender people face regarding crisis mental health, mental health facilities have a duty to ensure affirming policies and educate their employees on safe practices. Over 40% or transgender people have reposted attempted suicide as compared to less than 1% of the general population. When I reviewed them regarding this incident, instead of apologizing and revisiting their policies, I was told it didn't happen. They were on speakerphone and I wasn't the only one who heard this. At a time of crisis, this place made me feel unsafe and it is incredibly messed up. Do better yall.

I was asking some specific questions about intake processes and phone use and was told I needed to have my insurance checked first and have an assessment done before could discuss anything. Then when she would not explain why phone possession was allowed if you pay out of pocket vs phone possession is now allowed if paid by insurance she refused to clarify and disconnected chat saying she can't chat all day and I needed to call in after again I told her I couldn't. customer service awful. is a very bad place to work they discriminated against me and another employee and terminated me for standing up for us both in a professional manner, then they only promote friends of management and they corporates number will not return phone calls, DO NOT WORK THERE!!!

Banyan Pompano was definitely not my first treatment center, but it was definitely the first treatment center I’ve been too where I felt like I truly made some growth. The therapists there are amazing and helped me get to the root of my problems and learn how to deal with things from my past. Traumas I swore I would never talk about, I talked about there and they helped me cope with them so I can finally live my life without having to deal with untreated instances from the past. I would highly recommend Banyan Treatment Centers to anyone who is struggling. By far the best experience of my life. I’ll forever be grateful.
