List of Kevin Gordon's Reviews
Super compassionate doctor. You can tell he loves what he does. He's a great listener, and doesn't rush. He cracks jokes & is great at easing anxiety. Highly recommend.
The nastiest office staff ever!!!! Apparently he would rather risk losing patients than getting competent help. So very sorry to hear. We accurately like him as a physician.
My husband and myself have been patients of Dr. Gordon for some time.It appears that maybe there might be new staff in the back of the office who are not people friendly, thank goodness we love Dr. Gordon.
I just Adore Dr. GordonI live 40 miles away from his office ,I will never go to any other Dr.His whole staff is outstanding! Thank you Team Gordon you guys are the best !!
Dr. Gordon has a great personality, but that is it. I had to push him to refer my husband to an internist for reflux. Come to find out my husband had VERY BAD Barrets disease with high-grade dysplasia and was 6-12 months away from having esophageal cancer. Thank God we got it in time and after 6 halo treatments, his Barrets is under control. When I told Dr. Gordon I was worried because my heart palpations were getting bad, his response was "that's weird." He didn't even suggest any tests or a cardiologist! So, I made my own appointment with a cardiologist to find out I have congestive heart failure, cardiomyopathy, coronary artery disease, and a complete left bundle branch block. These conditions require me to be on medication. Left untreated, I could have a heart attack and die. I also have to be monitored for worsening, but heck, he didn't even do the first test or a referral! Avoid him if it's for anything more than a common cold!!
As far as Dr. Gordon's personability, it is fantastic. I just have a problem with his treatment. Both my husband and I were going to Dr. Gordon. At one point (about 2 1/2 years ago) my husband told him that he had reflux for about 10 years. Dr. Gordon had nothing to say about it. When pushed by me he said "I guess I can send you to an internist." and I said that would be great. Well, had I not pushed the issue my husband would have never found out that he had barrets esophagus with high grade dysplasia and would have had esophageal cancer within 6-12 months. IT WAS THAT BAD! He had to have 6 halo treatments (the standard is 2-3 treatments). THANK GOD I pushed the issue. The last time I saw Dr. Gordon, I told him I was having a lot of palpations and his response was "that's weird." He didn't suggest a cardiologist or anything at all, just "that's weird." So when the palpations didn't quit after another week, I made my own appointment with a cardiologist. Come to find out, I have a complete left bundle branch block, non-ischemic cardiomyopathy, Systolic congestive heart failure and mild coronary artery disease. I am now on water pills for the congestive heart failure and on cholesterol pills to try to make sure the plaque in my arteries does not get worse and/or break off causing a heart attack. Like I said, Dr. Gordon has a fantastic personality, all of his treatment wasn't so crappy, but those two things REALLY gave me cause for pause. Those are two HUGE things. He should have referred my husband to an internist without my pushing him and he should have sent me to a cardiologist right away. For these two reasons, if I could give him no stars I would.
I adore Dr. Gordon! When I moved back from Oregon I decided not to return to my previous PCP and I'm happy that I didn't. He's fun, energetic, totally human and personable. I give HIM 5 stars. Understand when you are picking a PCP, though, you're picking everyone that comes with it as well. His team (4 stars) is lovely, but I choose to request an alternative medical assistant in order to have a comfortable visit; my aunt and best friend also swap her out for someone else. I thought that my previous experiences with this specific assistant were just her having a bad and busy day, but it's kind of consistent and WORSE if it's on the phone. The good thing is the office is willing to accommodate to make your appointment the best for you and K.G.... he's the cherry on top!
This guy is fantastic! No white coat syndrome here. Dr. Gordon was thoughtful, thorough, and joyful. He is the kind of doctor you look forward to seeing.
Dr. Gordon is very compassionate and cares about his patients. He takes his time and does not rush when providing care. I am always able to be seen relatively quick and am never sitting in the waiting room longer than 5 minutes past my appointment time. To be honest, I've NEVER had to wait past my appointment time.
Dr. Gordon is the first doctor I've had in a very long time that actually takes his time with you and doesn't make you feel rushed! Answering all my questions and explaining anything I don't understand. I hope to be his patient for many years to come.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
